Concessions Manager job description

Vice President, Product Management
GAINSystems
Atlanta, GA

Vice President of Product Management

GAINS is on a mission to make supply chains smarter, faster, and self-improving, powered by AI. Our decision intelligence platform doesn't just support decisions, it drives them by aligning strategy, planning, and execution across every level of the supply chain. We serve inventory-intensive industries where the stakes are high and the complexity is real, helping customers move from reactive, spreadsheet-driven planning to continuously learning, AI-led operations that deliver measurable results fast. At GAINS, we call it Moving Forward Faster and it's not a tagline, it's how we're redefining what's possible in driving supply chain decisions.

About the Role

We are looking for an innovative Vice President of Product Management to own the execution of our software product roadmap, one that is fundamentally reimagined for the age of AI. Based in Atlanta, this leader will translate vision into reality, ensuring our products are built, shipped, and iterated with speed, discipline, and measurable customer impact. This is not a role for someone managing software the way it was managed five years ago. We need a leader who is actively challenging conventions, redefining how roadmaps are planned, prioritized, and delivered when AI can compress development cycles, automate decisions, and reshape user expectations overnight.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end roadmap execution across the product portfolio, turning strategic direction into clear plans, milestones, and delivered outcomes
  • Redesign product management frameworks, rituals, and metrics to reflect the realities of AI-assisted development and AI-native feature delivery
  • Evaluate and integrate AI tools (LLMs, automation, copilots, agentic workflows) into the product team's operating model to drive speed, quality, and performance
  • Partner with Strategy and Engineering to accelerate AI experimentation and bring differentiated capabilities to market faster
  • Serve as the connective tissue between strategy and delivery, ensuring the "what and why" translates cleanly into measurable performance across engineering and product teams

Supply Chain Product Domain

  • Apply deep supply chain expertise to define product requirements, surface user pain points, and prioritize high-impact features that drive customer performance outcomes
  • Serve as a credible domain authority in conversations with supply chain operators, procurement leaders, logistics executives, and enterprise customers
  • Identify where AI-driven automation, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier intelligence can create tangible, measurable results for customers

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product managers across multiple product lines
  • Establish a culture of intellectual curiosity, customer obsession, and disciplined experimentation
  • Influence without authority across engineering, sales, marketing, and executive leadership
  • Represent the product organization at the executive level, connecting product decisions directly to business performance

Go-to-Market & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with sales and marketing to develop compelling product narratives and positioning that resonate with supply chain and enterprise buyers
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects as a strategic thought partner focused on their performance outcomes
  • Drive product-led growth initiatives and track product metrics that connect directly to business results

What You Bring Required Experience

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 35 years in a senior leadership role (Director, Senior Director, or VP)
  • Demonstrated experience managing or reimagining software products in the context of AI/ML, not just awareness, but hands-on strategic ownership with measurable results
  • Meaningful domain expertise in supply chain, including logistics, procurement, inventory management, demand planning, or supplier operations, gained through direct product ownership or embedded partnership with supply chain businesses
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing at the executive level
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA

Preferred Experience

  • Experience at a supply chain software company, SaaS platform, or enterprise software organization with supply chain verticals
  • Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, LLM integration, agentic systems, or AI product development workflows
  • Experience scaling product teams in high-growth or transformation environments
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field

Leadership Competencies

  • AI-First Mindset: Actively experiments with and advocates for AI-native approaches to product design and team productivity
  • Outcome Orientation: Connects every product decision to customer performance and business results, not just features shipped
  • Customer Proximity: Deeply connected to customer needs and drives product decisions with evidence, not assumptions
  • Organizational Influence: Builds trust and alignment across engineering, commercial, and executive stakeholders
  • Talent Multiplier: Creates the conditions for product managers to do their best work, grow their careers, and deliver at their highest level

Why This Role

Atlanta is home to a thriving technology and logistics ecosystem, and this role sits at the intersection of two of the most transformative forces in enterprise software right now: AI and supply chain intelligence. The problems are hard. The stakes are real. The performance outcomes for our customers are measurable and meaningful. You'll have the mandate, the resources, and the executive sponsorship to push what's possible and the opportunity to shape how an entire product organization thinks about its future.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity and welcome everyone regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, domestic partner status, veteran status or medical condition. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
