Executive Assistant in the Office of the President

Eurasia Group is seeking an impeccably organized Executive Assistant in the Office of the President to provide office and administrative support for the principal and team. This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in operations: you'll help run a fast-moving calendar of global travel, media, and speaking engagements, and your judgment and precision will directly augment the principal's impact. Responsibilities:

  • Work daily with the President's Chief of Staff and Director of Programming to support all aspects of the principal's daily work routine, with exposure to speaking engagement logistics, relationship management, and full operations of a principal with a global platform.
  • Maintain the calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and visa procurement as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Office of the President and teams across Eurasia Group to coordinate the work of different groups and provide administrative support for meetings as needed.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit corporate expense reports
  • Provide day-to-day office support for principal and team including mailing, printing, and errands
  • Oversee professional correspondence for principal, screening and responding quickly to business-related mail, phone calls and emails and sorting any personal mail for household manager.
  • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or company executives as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize projects as needed and exercise considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments.
  • Highly effective communication skills to efficiently work situations toward decisions. Clear written communication and reliable follow-through are key to this role given pace of principal travel.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in an office setting. Ability to maintain workflow processes while adapting to new, time sensitive issues is critical for this position.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and information management across various platforms with attention to detail, consistency in recording and updating information are essential skills.
  • Familiarity with Brex preferred
  • Ability to lift and transport light loads and deliveries
  • When the principal is traveling, the pace picks up flexibility outside standard hours is part of the rhythm of this role, and the right candidate finds that energizing rather than draining.
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Proximity to mid and lower Manhattan is a plus.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $78,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Staff Supervision: Supervises and directs technologists and support staff engaged in creating images used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Develops work schedules to ensure proper staff coverage. Communicates and enforces section policies and procedures. Interviews and hires prospective staff. Reviews job performance, disciplines and if necessary discharges non-performing staff. Provides training and guidance to new staff.
  • Training: Develops training materials relating to protocol and application / software updates. Updated policy and procedure manuals as appropriate to comply with industry standards for the applicable imaging modality.
  • HR Function: Ensures that job descriptions are accurate and up to date; responsible for timely completion of performance appraisals and competency assessments for all staff. Oversight of colleague time away, overtime and shift work. In partnership with Human Resources ensures that policies and procedures are followed taking corrective action as needed.
  • Protocols: Works with physician leadership (section heads) to formulate or revise imaging protocols and in specifying procedures utilized in the production of images. Ensures that all protocols are regularly updated and that all changes are communicated to imaging staff.
  • Budget and Control: In conjunction with administrative leadership develops annual budgets and monitors performance against budget weekly. Forecasts operating budgets and revenues for new fiscal year based on actual experience while developing opportunities for increasing volumes and reducing costs. Controls budget by identifying variances and taking corrective action to realign section performance with budget plan.
  • Compliance: Designs and implements processes to maintain compliance with all policies and procedures on a daily basis.
  • Process Improvement: Works in conjunction with administrative leadership and Radiology Information Services to improve billing and collections processes. Meets regularly with Patient Financial Services (PFS) to review Current Procedure Terminology (CPT) coding as currently used and makes appropriate adjustments to ensure that Lahey Health receives proper credit from third party payers for work performed. Serves on or leads various improvement teams to continuously improve operating results.
  • Responsible for maintaining operational performance measurements. Conducts periodic team meetings to review performance targets and benchmarks as well as other improvement processes. Assigns responsibility for process quality and efficiency to a specific technical supervisor on each shift. Defines and maintains quality and efficiency performance information for each technical supervisor and incorporates results into the individual's performance evaluation.
  • Professional Development: Regularly attends professional meetings, seminars and other conferences to build on current professional knowledge and skills. Minimum Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university preferably with a focus in Engineering, or another STEM subject. OR the combined work experience to perform the duties at a high-level of success. 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, marketing or product management. 
  • Technical depth: understands the importance of utilizing fundamental engineering principles in solution development and embeds best practices, critical thinking and deep product understanding to ensure project achievement and can frame technical decisions in terms of customer value and differentiation. 
  • Cross-functional influence: Influence other functional teams to ensure appropriate functional quality, direction, capacity, and support. 
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Office products, CRM software (Salesforce), and ERP systems. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Broad process/technical knowledge of metal stamping, diecasting, assembly, plastics, and electronic methods/processes.  
  • Past experience or familiarity with a publicly owned, OEM manufacturing organization.

In the role of Assistant General Manager (“AGM”), you will be responsible for bringing our mission, values, and competencies to life for our guests and Team Members in our restaurants. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in the establishment of store action plans, financial metric results, and the development of hourly Team Members in the restaurant. You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the overall restaurant operations at an exceptional level including but not limited to schedules, forecasting, labor management and inventory. As an AGM, you will be expected to learn and master competency-based leadership and operational skills.

We offer competitive pay at $22.00 per hour (projected annually as $62,920 based on a 50-hour work week).

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to CAVA’s standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
  • Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
  • Assist with addressing Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Enhance the guest experience by upholding high service standards and promptly addressing customer concerns.
  • Implement strategies to help with boosting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
  • Support with managing financial aspects including tracking sales, cash handling, and adhering to budget guidelines.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with overseeing food safety practices and ensure team training on proper procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management and maintaining operational records.
  • Support the General Manager in report preparation and action plan implementation.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to drive restaurant success and support the General Manager as needed.
  • Assist with any additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or higher management.


The Qualifications:

  • 1- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and develop solutions to enhance restaurant performance.
  • Ability to manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Knowledge of legal, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively.
  •  Willing to work flexibly (including at night and on weekends) and to travel as needed 
  • Consistently exhibits a generous and friendly demeanor when engaging with guests.
  • Completes tasks and projects within established timelines.
  • Promotes and upholds a culture of inclusivity and respect within the team.
  • Actively seeks and incorporates feedback from team members to improve performance and operations.
  • Applies effective decision-making skills to guide the team towards achieving success.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to regularly work overtime
  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead often  
  • Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment  
  • Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold  
  • Must be comfortable working near open flames  
  • May be required to work in tight spaces  
  • Must maintain near constant communication with multiple people  
  • Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision are required  
  • Must be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally  
  • Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner  
  • May be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions  
  • May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
