  • Mentor and monitor the student experience in City-ship Program to ensure student success.
  • Track and approve City-ship student hours and progress in JobHawk and other related systems.
  • Assist in the planning and facilitation of City-ship events (Welcome, Halfway, and End of Year Celebration).
  • Help with the creation, planning, and implementation of professional development events and workshops for City-ship students.
  • Assistance in the planning and facilitation of Honors Yourself Week.
  • Plan, organize, and run Fall Fest in collaboration with the College of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Science and the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences.
  • Help in planning and attend admissions yield events.
  • Assist with the Honors Induction and Honors Stole the Show Ceremonies.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications (required):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with students.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekend events.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with student populations.
  • Prior experience designing or running student events.
  • Independent, proactive, and takes initiative.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys developing new programs and event ideas.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

Additional considerations:

  • Marketing or design background.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and design programs, such as Canva.
