Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at our Imlay City, Michigan facility, you will lead the 3rd shift team members in the maintenance department to ensure production lines, affiliated equipment, and facilities operate efficiently. You will schedule work and workforce to meet production demands, maintain the preventative maintenance system, and strive to exceed the plant’s safety and uptime goals. You will help establish mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs to ensure employee safety, provide environmental security, and maximize plant availability, product quality, and cost effectiveness. You will leverage internal and external resources to provide daily direction and solutions for the workforce.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Train, motivate, and direct employees to follow safe work methods and standard procedures for efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor downtime occurrences and production line efficiencies, identifying maintenance and mechanical trends.
  • Maintain equipment for efficient operation within budget while adhering to union contract and USDA regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance team performance and production line efficiencies.
  • Participate in predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to optimize workforce and resources for maximum equipment reliability.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Compensation

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position.   • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. Compensation 

Annual Base Salary: $64,000.00 - $85,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
