The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) has a combined total of 30 intensive care beds designed to provide specialized care to the critically ill adult (14 and older) patient.  The unit has a usual 50/50 split of patient population between the neuro and surgical patient population.  

The focus of care is includes patients with life-threatening conditions related to major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, seizure, sepsis/multi-organ system failure, hemodynamic instability and failure to wean. The SICU and Neuro ICU patient needs encompass but are not limited to comprehensive physical assessments, intensive monitoring, treatment of laboratory values, ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring. 

SICU-Neuro ICU nurses require the following skill set – ICP monitoring via EVD or bolt, spinal drains/catheters, brain oxygen monitoring, Artic Sun therapy, continuous EEG, intra-arterial catheter, non-invasive cardiac output, mechanical ventilation, continuous renal replacement therapy, reconstructive flap monitoring, and massive blood transfusion among others.  Nursing will support the following on-unit procedures including placement of arterial lines, central lines, external ventricular drains and ICP monitors, SEPS drains, bedside bronchoscopy, abdominal washouts, tracheostomy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, pigtail drains and others.

Hourly Range: $34.65 - $35.69

The nurse is responsible for:

• Implementation of physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred
• Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Obtain and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
• Possess knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to work alongside the Head of Talent Analytics and the Talent Analytics team to help drive major initiatives, shape strategy and operating rhythms, and maximize the overall impact of the work we do. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program and product management, experience working with analytics teams, and experience leading initiatives in the HR space. Strong organizational skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with the Head of Talent Analytics to effectively manage a dynamic portfolio of initiatives, shape team strategy and roadmaps, and establish operating practices and rhythms.


2. Work effectively with teammates from Talent, Technology, Legal, and other functions to shepherd and progress analytics projects and initiatives.


3. Coordinate change management in partnership with relevant teams to maximize the impact of analytics initiatives and establish mechanisms to measure their success.


4. Identify and deploy process and operational improvements across the Talent Analytics team and our partner ecosystem.

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program and product management.

This role can be based out of our Los Gatos or Los Angeles offices with a flexible schedule.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000 - $280,000.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides routine and urgent care to the students attending the Montana School for the Deaf and the Blind and those residing in the residential program. The LPN will dispense necessary medications per Doctor Orders. The LPN is on shift during the times that the students in the residential program are awake. The LPN operates under the direction of the Health Services Director (RN).

Essential Duties or Responsibilities

Direct care to students: 70%

• Provides routine and urgent care to students who need medical attention.
• Dispenses necessary medications as per Doctor orders.
• Performs tube feedings as necessary.
• Makes decisions about treatment for various illnesses when students come to the Health Center/Infirmary.
• Administers treatments accurately and professionally.
• Monitors students who are in the Health Services for worsening symptoms and makes appropriate follow up referrals and/or treatments.

Charting: 15%

• Maintains accurate charting and logging of all services to students.

Cleaning and Supplies: 10%

• Cleans health services prior to shift completion
• Sanitizes and makes beds after ill students are released
• Inventories supplies on hand
• Restock supplies when needed

All other duties as assigned: 5%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of general medical practices and specifically best practices in working with students (age birth-21)who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, and deafblind
