Maintenance Engineers perform an instrumental role in the overall functionality of the hotel facility and system operation. Engineers tackle routine challenges, preventative maintenance, and respond to guest needs when something isn't working as it should. The primary responsibility of a Maintenance Engineer is proactive upkeep of equipment and systems, proper and adequate repair of building and equipment, safe use of tools and other power equipment, and support of guest and operational needs.

Proactively maintain the physical building structure, building systems, and equipment by performing preventative and routine maintenance

Complete grounds and custodial work as needed or assigned

Use tools and other power equipment, following all manufacturer and other safety guidelines to ensure safety of self and others

Complete needed or assigned building, equipment, or room repairs including but not limited to plumbing, painting, carpentry, sheetrock, and electrical work.

Prioritize repairs or maintenance needs that may inconvenience or negatively impact the experience of hotel guests.

Effectively communicate with hotel departments to ensure timely response and completion of maintenance needs.

Listen to guests and empathize with their challenges. When necessary, notify other departments and act on guests concerns.

Always maintain professionalism consistent with hotel brand and company expectations.

Know, maintain, and communicate hotel emergency procedures; inform and assist guests or hotel operations in emergencies.

If applicable, maintain balance and security of house bank and accurately log all transactions.

2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar facility

High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required

Electrical and/or plumbing certification preferred

Valid driver's license may be required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace

8+ hours per day; stand and walk frequently throughout the workday

Responsibilities

  • Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areas

  • Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors

  • Spot clean walls and windows

  • Dust furniture and empty trash cans

  • Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC Vents

  • Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time

  • Assist with picking up trash

  • Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture

  • Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident

  • Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary

  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
  • Must be able to speak and understand English in order to communicate with supervisors and residents

Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York. 
 
We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.
 
Project objective
 
The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas in the USA. The project is performed on cars with 360 cameras mounted on top that image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one the most popular online maps in the world.
 
The data collectors will be given specific routes around public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions some areas will be visited multiple times in order to collect the best quality of imaging. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas. 
 
The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows well the area, traffic trends, is highly responsible and reliable.
 
The schedule expected on the project is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week. Due to weather downtime, work on weekends is possible.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Driver Licence;
  • Good driving skills and clean driving record;
  • General car knowledge would be a plus;
  • Enjoys driving, within standard business hours;
  • Available for a minimum of 3 months;
  • Must have private monitored parking space for corporate vehicle;
  • Great communication and reporting skills;
  • Tech savvy (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms and Google Meet);
  • High level of responsibility;
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented;

To assist the Surveillance Manager in every regard at all times; to supervise senior operators, technicians and operators on their respective shifts as instructed by the Manager in compliance with all-departmental, company and State Regulations.  To conduct continuous surveillance of all areas of the casino via floor surveillance and the CCTV system as directed by the Manager per Commission, departmental and company regulations; to take authority over emergency situations until such time that the Manager may arrive to provide further instructions and to give guidance and training to the Operators of all shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervises all personnel assigned to surveillance operations on a shift basis.
  2. Safeguards assets of the company.
  3. Operates electronic surveillance equipment.
  4. Conducts surveillance of areas, customers and employees to ensure the protection of the assets of the casino.
  5. Conducts investigations as directed by the Surveillance Manager.
  6. To ensure all new and current surveillance personnel are properly trained in all aspects of their duties.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Give guidance to Surveillance Operators, and Surveillance Technician/Operators as directed by the Manager.
  2. Make recommendations to Surveillance Management, based on observations made during Surveillance activity, concerning changes in the policies and procedures of other departments with the protection of company assets in mind.
  3. Supports other Managers, Directors and Executives with assistance and information relating to the protection of assets in their respective departments, as well as Operators in the performance of their duties.
  4. Understand and cooperate fully with all Departmental and Company policies, including the “open door” policy.
  5. Continuously monitor CCTV, closely scrutinizing all activities within Camera range to ensure the protection of company assets.
  6. Maintain a professional relationship with the Commission or its Agents.
  7. Maintain the ability to detect any schemes or cheating aimed at the company or its guests.
  8. Report all significant indications of criminal activity to the Commission and applicable members of management in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure that the integrity and confidentiality necessary in the department is maintained per company and departmental policies and procedures.
  10. Maintain a non-arbitrary work environment for all surveillance personnel.
  11. Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate competency of MO CSRs and the property’s Internal Controls (ICS)
  12. Provide a comprehensive training concerning all Internal Controls, slots, cage, count areas, as well as table games when applicable.
  13. Maintain an environment, which emphasizes cooperation, communication and teamwork with all departments, which depend on the support of the Surveillance Department.
  14. Recognize and recommend for promotion only those surveillance employees who have demonstrated that their attitudes and abilities are commensurate with added responsibility and growth within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be of legal age to work in the casino industry.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two years of Surveillance experience, ability to discern and safeguard sensitive matters, with an aptitude to lead and mentor the Surveillance Team. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be of legal age to work in the casino industry. Must have the ability to obtain a work permit or license issued by the Missouri Gaming Commission. Must demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the Surveillance Manager, via written and oral evaluation, the ability to take authority over any situation when the Manager is absent.

Missouri Gaming License – Level II

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
