We are seeking a Bilingual Certified Dental Assistant to support a busy oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will be experienced in chairside assisting, digital radiography, instrument sterilization, and patient care while maintaining compliance with OSHA and clinic standards.

Location: Newark, NJ
Contract type: Minimum 3-6-month temp/contract role (likely contract extension and/or temp-hire)
Work hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Hourly pay rate: $25.00/hr. (CDA), $26.00/hr. (RDA)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers.
Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment.
Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients.
Operates suction equipment.
Mixes endodontic and restorative materials.
Maintains all dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations.
Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images.
Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization. Restocks endodontic kits with proper instruments and materials.
Assists supervisor in ordering and maintaining clinical supplies.
Understands and adheres to client's compliance standards as they appear in client's corporate compliance policy, code of conduct and conflict of interest policy.
Education AND/OR Experience required:

Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant Program
Certification as a Dental Assistant in the state of NJ
Valid dental radiologic technology license issued by NJ Department of Environmental Protection
NJ X-Ray license for oral and maxillofacial surgery
