About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword - it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we’re looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce’s core values at the heart of it all.

We are Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI + Data + CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer too, driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good, you’ve come to the right place.

About the Role

Production leadership required. Builder mindset non-negotiable.

Salesforce is hiring a Portfolio Leader to directly manage and grow a team of technical AI specialists deploying Agentforce solutions inside complex customer environments. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can drive engineering excellence while operating at the executive level. This is not a traditional people manager, but a mission‑critical multiplier on the agentic frontier. You will lead a blended delivery team made up of two specialist functions: Forward Deployed Engineers (Technical Builders – who design, build, and deploy AI Agents directly in customer environments) and Deployment Strategists (Strategic Builders – customer‑facing advisors who shape AI strategy, define use cases, and drive adoption). Together, these teams work alongside customers to co‑build and deliver agentic AI solutions on a single large enterprise account or across multiple engagements simultaneously. You’ll set the engineering standards, unblock complex customer deployments, and scale the talent that is shipping production AI today.

The Builder Leadership Experience

  • Delivery Team Coordination: You own the capacity planning, talent acquisition, and staffing that ensures your cross‑functional squads have the horsepower to deploy Agentforce at enterprise scale.
  • AI-Augmented Leadership: Your team ships solutions using a best-in-class suite of AI tools (Cursor, Claude, and Salesforce coding products like Vibes). You will foster an inclusive, high-energy, and psychologically safe engineering culture where builders iterate fast and continuously level up.
  • Direct Product Influence: You stand at the center of the product feedback loop. Partner directly with the Product and Engineering organizations on pilot programs and beta rollouts, turning raw field insights from high‑stakes deployments into features on the Agentforce core roadmap.

What You’ll Actually Be Building & Execution

Leadership & Team Excellence

  • Scale Elite Talent: Recruit, mentor, and develop the next wave of Technical and Strategic Builders. Drive technical excellence, structure career growth, and foster an environment where shipping high-quality, production-ready systems is the norm.
  • Maintain Operational Velocity: Monitor key delivery metrics, coach your teams on optimization, and run hard on complex customer escalations. You ensure your teams move from sketch to deployable in weeks, not months.

Technical Strategy & Authority

  • Ultimate Technical Authority: Serve as the final technical escalation point for your portfolio. Maintain deep architectural judgment across the Salesforce platform, advanced LLM techniques, data pipelines, and agentic orchestration.
  • Guide Enterprise Implementations: Unblock complex data readiness, tool integration, and multi-agent orchestration challenges. Step in directly to help your teams assess customer technical readiness, remove deployment barriers, and codify standardized, repeatable delivery methodologies.

Customer & Business Impact

  • Drive Agentic Adoption: Build and anchor strong executive-level relationships within your customer portfolio, ensuring flawless Agentforce activation, rollout, and sustained production value.
  • Accelerate Portfolio Performance: Operationally run your account portfolio with engineering rigor—monitoring health, delivery velocity, and core consumption metrics to accelerate progress toward customer business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner lock‑step with Services, Account Success, and Product teams to help enterprises activate and consume Agentforce quickly, moving customers from pilot to production at hyper-speed.

You’re Our Builder Lead If...

  • You Have Proven Leadership: 4+ years of direct people management or high-impact technical leadership steering cross‑functional engineering or technical teams. You have a track record of hiring, mentoring, and scaling technical talent.
  • You Bring Advanced Technical Depth: Deep architectural understanding of AI, LLMs, and the Salesforce ecosystem. You have hands‑on experience with enterprise software implementation, data modeling, API integration, and AI deployments.
  • You Own the Agentforce & Data Cloud Blueprint: You possess direct, hands‑on experience architecting or deploying Salesforce Data Cloud and the Agentforce platform. You don’t just understand the tech stack – you know how to orchestrate it to unblock enterprise scale and drive immediate production value.
  • You Lead with an Enterprise Customer Focus: Strong background navigating high-touch customer strategies at a Global level, paired with exceptional executive-level communication and influence skills. You can hold your own in a room with customer CTOs and enterprise architects.
  • You Have a Ship-It Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving instincts, extreme resourcefulness, and a “get-things-done” demeanor. You thrive at the technical helm where code is being actively shipped, not just talking about it.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Hands‑on experience building multi-agent systems, prompt engineering pipelines, or deterministic AI guardrails.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and enterprise data pipelines.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Agentforce Specialist).

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future— but to redefine what’s possible—for yourself, for AI, and the world.

You will work closely with Legal, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and senior stakeholders to keep critical initiatives moving at pace while building the processes and reporting rhythms needed for scale. This role will manage a small team of senior project managers, including ownership of PMO execution, internal cadence, construction liaison activity, integrated master scheduling, contract governance, and post-handoff construction programme delivery.

What You'll be Doing

  • Lead the PMO across active datacentre, manufacturing, and infrastructure programmes, owning governance, visibility, risk tracking, and cross-programme dependency management.
  • Own integrated master scheduling governance, ensuring milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and contract-related requirements are visible and actively managed.
  • Drive programme execution from scoping through delivery and closeout, ensuring priorities are clearly defined, owners are accountable, and progress is tracked to completion.
  • Manage project scheduling and task management across tools such as Linear, Procore, Jira, MS Project, or equivalent systems.
  • Establish programme governance frameworks, reporting cadences, escalation protocols, and executive-ready status reporting.
  • Improve time-to-power outcomes by aligning programme plans with operational readiness gates and decision-making milestones.
  • Build and maintain risk registers, escalating critical issues with clear mitigation recommendations.
  • Manage the operating cadence for senior leadership, including QBRs, leadership forums, weekly reviews, strategic planning sessions, agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, leadership updates, board-level materials, and decision documents with clarity and pace.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, Construction, and Operations to keep vendor onboarding, contract reviews, sourcing cycles, and programme timelines aligned.
  • Design and document operational processes for the Business Operations function as it scales.
  • Work alongside process optimisation leaders to build the internal coordination framework for cross-functional execution.
  • Manage, develop, and create clear operating rhythms for two senior project managers, ensuring the team has the context, standards, and accountability needed to deliver.

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in programme management, project management, PMO leadership, executive operations, or strategic operations.
  • Proven experience running PMO governance for complex, multi-site, capital-intensive, infrastructure, construction, datacentre, manufacturing, or technology programmes.
  • Strong ability to build structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, including programme frameworks, reporting rhythms, ownership models, and escalation paths.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to produce polished materials quickly and represent senior leadership credibly.
  • Hands-on experience with project and task management tooling such as Linear, Procore, Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong commercial and operational judgement, with the ability to connect programme execution to business outcomes, timelines, risk, and leadership priorities.
  • Experience coordinating with Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, and cross-functional partners to remove blockers and keep delivery on track.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior individual contributors or project managers, setting clear standards while supporting development and performance.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels, moving from board-level materials to detailed project plans without losing momentum.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in GPU cloud, AI infrastructure, hyperscale datacentres, cloud infrastructure, construction, energy, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with integrated master scheduling methodology and contract governance in capital programmes.
  • Experience supporting executive operating cadence for VP, President, or C-level stakeholders.
  • PMP, Prince2, PgMP, or equivalent project/programme management certification.
  • Experience with post-handoff construction, operational readiness, or construction-to-operations transition programmes.

Why this role matters

This role is critical to Nscale's ability to execute complex infrastructure programmes with speed, discipline, and visibility. As Nscale grows, the business needs a dedicated leader who can turn strategic priorities into coordinated execution, ensure risks and dependencies are managed before they become blockers, and give senior leadership a reliable operating cadence. By leading the PMO and executive operations function, you will create the structure that enables faster decisions, cleaner accountability, stronger cross-functional coordination, and better delivery outcomes across Nscale's most important programmes.
