Director, Analytics
ChatGPT Jobs
austin, tx
Compensation: 135.000 - 150.000

Job Description

Job Title: Analytics Practice Lead

Location: Austin, TX (Remote work with preference for Austin or willingness to travel for periodic team gatherings)

Company: Siege Media – A full-service GEO agency specializing in SEO, content marketing, digital PR, and affiliate marketing. They are expanding into analytics and seeking a founding hire to build and lead the practice.

The Role

Type: Hybrid implementer/strategist. You will be both building the technical foundation (GA4, GTM, attribution, dashboards) and serving as the analytics authority in client meetings, translating data into strategy.

Own the Analytics service line from scratch: set standards, scope engagements, and grow the practice.

This is NOT a pure builder or pure advisor role; you must be comfortable and excited about doing both.

Responsibilities

  • Implementations: Lead end-to-end analytics implementations: GA4, Google Tag Manager (including server-side tagging), data layer architecture, and conversion tracking.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design and build reports and dashboards using Looker Studio, BigQuery, and equivalent BI tools.
  • Attribution Strategy: Develop attribution models and measurement frameworks linking organic, content, and PR efforts to business outcomes.
  • Client Advisory: Serve as the analytics authority during client calls – present insights, field questions, guide strategy with confidence.
  • Internal Partnership: Collaborate with GEO, SEO, content, affiliate, paid social, and PR teams to instrument campaigns and prove impact.
  • Compliance: Ensure privacy and consent compliance (consent mode, data governance) across all implementations.
  • Practice Building: Set standards, processes, and deliverable templates for a scalable Analytics practice.
  • Sales Support: Scope and price new analytics engagements alongside the Growth team.
  • Brand Strategy: Use the Analytics infrastructure with historical data to develop differentiated content strategies for the Siege Media brand.

Required Skills

  • 7–10 years experience in marketing or web analytics (mix of agency and/or in-house)
  • Dedicated experience using AI (including Claude artifacts for reporting and agentic workflows) to build analytics dashboards/scaled recommendations
  • Deep, hands-on GA4 and GTM expertise (server-side tagging, data layer design)
  • Strong SQL and experience with BigQuery and BI/visualization tools (Looker Studio or similar)
  • Proven attribution modeling and measurement strategy skills
  • Demonstrated client-facing presence – can lead a call, not just join one
  • Ability to translate technical data into clear, strategic recommendations for CMOs
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations and consent management

Suggested Skills

  • Strong comfort using AI tools like Claude to drive analytics recommendations and scale impact
  • Experience measuring SEO/content/GEO performance, or exposure to AI search analytics

Compensation & Logistics

  • Salary: $135,000.00 – $150,000.00 USD
  • Benefits: 100% health/dental/vision for U.S. employees, 401(k) matching, unlimited PTO
  • Location: Remote-friendly, with preference for Austin, TX or willingness to travel for periodic team gatherings
  • Diversity: Siege Media values diversity and encourages applicants from all backgrounds; reasonable accommodations available.

Role Summary

The Business Partner, IT Commercial is a director-level role responsible for aligning IT capabilities with the strategic and operational needs of the commercial organization. • Partner with Market Access stakeholders to ensure data flows and reporting capabilities support reimbursement strategy and pull-through activities.

Medical Affairs

  • Enable IT solutions for Medical Affairs functions, including medical information platforms, KOL engagement tracking, scientific exchange tools, and congress/event management.
  • Ensure Medical Affairs systems meet compliance and regulatory requirements for appropriate off‑label and on‑label scientific communication.

Pre-Launch & Launch Readiness

  • Drive IT readiness activities in support of product launch, including system build‑out, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and hyper‑care support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ensure commercial systems meet applicable requirements (e.g., PDMA, OIG guidelines, data privacy regulations).

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals supporting commercial functions, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations; support career development and succession planning within the team.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with third‑party vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers supporting commercial technology.
  • Negotiate contracts and SLAs; hold vendors accountable to delivery commitments and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a business partner, IT lead, or equivalent role supporting commercial functions in biotech or pharma.

  • Hands‑on experience delivering IT solutions across Commercial Strategy, Marketing Technology, Market Access, and Medical Affairs functions, with a clear understanding of the business workflows and data needs unique to each.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing direct reports, including setting goals, providing coaching, and building high‑performing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing external vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers — including contract negotiation, performance management, and holding partners accountable to delivery commitments and SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the commercial launch of one or more pharmaceutical or biologic products.
  • Familiarity with specialty pharma or rare disease commercial models.
