Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Secondary Operator. This is a general labor position actively engaged in performing deburring, drilling, tapping, threading, or other secondary operations as required.

What You Will Get To Do

  • Rapidly, precisely, safely, and accurately perform deburring, flat sanding, removing micro joints, or other secondary operations as required.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine required secondary operations.
  • Maintain proper tools and replace as needed to meet specifications.
  • Record operational or production data.
  • Load and unload items from both mobile and stationary carts, crates and palettes.
  • Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Remove products or workpieces from secondary work environment to the next operation.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent is required
  • Language Skills: This position requires the ability to understand and communicate basic English as defined by English equivalent to satisfactory grammar school level (6th grade English) in order to accurately comprehend and express legally required communications. (Ex. US Department of Labor (DOL) safety information (MSDS), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) production record keeping, raw materials safe handling instructions, customer and shipping destination product labels, etc.)
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic counting and math skills.

Essential Job Duties

Respiratory Care Practitioner

This full time, night shift Respiratory Care Practitioner position will work three, 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45pm-7:15am, plus call during varied weekdays and weekends.   • Uses peer-to-peer accountability to contribute towards improving department score for patient satisfaction

QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Troubleshoots, calibrates and performs preventive maintenance and quality control on all equipment and analyzers per department guidelines, documenting activities. Assembles, prepares, cleans and operates bronchoscopy equipment, monitoring equipment and accessories in accordance with manufacturing recommendations and department guidelines. Reports malfunctions.
  • Provides direct assistance to physicians, performing tests as ordered, assessing and assuring quality, acceptability and reliability of results; takes corrective action and involves others as needed toward achievement of this end.
  • Contributes to identification of corrective action and improvement activities and to meet department and hospital targets for quality and safety, focusing on the task at hand and reporting near misses, and inputting errors promptly into Patient Safety Net to improve processes and identify trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disease Biomarker Strategy Development and Delivery:
    • Partner with the Clinical Teams, Research Technologies and the Development organization to identify, establish biomarkers for decision making throughout clinical development phases and aligned with the overall research and development goals. This will include the identification, prioritisation and validation of disease relevant biomarkers, mechanistic/surrogate biomarkers, patient stratification, and differentiated response prediction, their deployment into clinical studies and interpretation of data/results.
  • Translational Leadership:
    • Provide strategic leadership contributing to deep understanding of Disease areas enabling the development and execution of translational research disease strategies to support the discovery and development of novel differentiated therapeutics including evaluation and diligence of business development opportunities.
  • Translational innovation:
    • Evaluate novel techniques and technologies (i.e. spatial transcriptomics) to inform translational initiatives, biomarker development and validation working in collaboration with platform teams and within a multi-functional matrix environment.

The Director must be a firm decision-maker, taking into consideration the impact of that decision on the overall organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Food Service Director reports to the Executive and Assistant Executive Director and is responsible for carrying out the primary duties of food preparation as outlined by the Executive Director/Assistant Executive Director of Twin Oaks. These essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure food, food preparation, equipment, and storage areas are maintained in accordance with the sanitation requirements.

  • Serve food according to dietary guidelines, checking for completeness and accurateness of the food served.

  • Review residents’ diet information and care plans and discuss with resident, family, and resident care attendants as necessary to make appropriate changes.

  • Monitor portion control guidelines for individual residents.

Lifting, up to twenty-five pounds, on a regular basis is required. Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to fifty pounds is also required. Requires hearing to normal range and corrected vision. The Cook facilitates and participates in menu planning on behalf of Twin Oaks. This position is an exempt position under the FLSA and does require overtime in order to accomplish those duties outlined and to complete projects. Occasional stress related to multiple responsibilities is anticipated.
