In this role you will:

  • Hands-on technical fluency: Snowflake (warehouses, RBAC, performance/cost tuning), Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, ADLS, networking/security), and ingestion/transformation tooling (Fivetran; dbt a plus).
  • Ability to credibly guide architecture and review technical decisions, not just manage status.
  • Practical expertise in lakehouse/medallion architectures, governance, data modeling, and data quality/observability.
  • Strong agile delivery skills (Scrum/Kanban, Jira/Azure DevOps, CI/CD for data, Git workflows).
  • Strong executive communication with VP/C-suite/sponsor-level stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial instincts proposals, staffing strategy, engagement economics.
  • Nice to have regulated industries, FinOps for data platforms, GDPR/CCPA, Power BI/Fabric, PE-backed environments, Office of the CFO transformations, or broader AI-led value creation work.

Preferred Requirements:

  • BS/MS in CS, IS, Engineering, adjacent technical degree (Math, Physics, etc.), or equivalent experience. MBA a plus.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe; SnowPro; Azure DP-203/AZ-305 a plus.

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $234,000 to $280,000 USD + bonus + LTI + benefits. Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
