Job Summary

This is a sales position reporting directly to the Director of New Business Development, FreshPoint. We have an opening for an Experienced Electrical Estimator to join our pre-construction team in the Kansas City, MO area. As an Experienced Estimator at Barts Electric, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of our projects by providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates. Your expertise will support our project managers and clients by ensuring that all aspects of project costs are meticulously evaluated and managed.

Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope. Utilize various estimating software and tools to prepare comprehensive estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing design narratives and basic floor plans. Identify scope gaps, value alternatives, pricing and escalation concerns. Aid in the development of early budgetary assistance to our customers. Develop square footage budgets based on previous historical data. Conduct thorough reviews of project documentation, including contracts and drawings, to identify potential cost impacts and risks. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate terms and ensure that all bids align with project requirements and budget constraints. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Staff, Programs position will serve as an Intake Officer and play a key role in connecting families with counseling services offered through Northside. Duties and Responsibilities:

  3. Complete intake forms and enter data into Northside's record-keeping systems.
