Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams while providing the highest level of customer service and image quality. This role involves coordinating daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of compassionate, holistic care that supports the rights and dignity of all patients.

What You'll Do in This Role

  • Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to all HIPAA privacy regulations and hospital policies.
  • Protect patients and employees by strictly adhering to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and emergency procedures for drug reactions or first aid.
  • Ensure the proper operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and evaluating new techniques.
  • Perform all requested radiographic examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality images that meet site-specific standards and density requirements.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, using immobilization devices and adjusting equipment controls to set proper exposure factors.
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety during transport and throughout the exam, reducing patient anxiety through clear explanations and answering questions.
  • Administer contrast agents under the guidance of the site Radiologist and practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
  • Document patient care services accurately in department records and address any care-related problems with appropriate decision-making.
  • Maintain a clean and professional working environment while participating in professional development through workshops and societies.

What Qualifications You'll Need

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT R.T. (R) certification is required (or must be registry eligible and obtain ARRT within 12 months of hire date).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all facility healthcare professionals and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of radiography equipment, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging standards.

Telehealth Technician/LPN

STGi is seeking qualified candidates for this position in connection with an active Request for Proposals (RFP). Hiring for this role is contingent upon STGi's selection as the successful awardee.

The general duty of the Telehealth Technician -LPN is to provide telehealth services as well as manage administrative and clinical interactions from the patient and provider location.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports Primary Telehealth Clinical Technician (TCT) in performing telehealth imaging, including tele-retinal screening, tele-dermatology, tele-wound care imaging and other telehealth programming as technology becomes available, as identified and referred by the primary care provider, other providers, and the imager.
  • Supports Primary TCT in Telehealth visits to carry out the following duties: responsible for the patient site clinical, business, scheduling and technical aspects for real-time telehealth applications, including, all specialty and primary care telehealth encounters (clinical video, imaging and support of home telehealth).
  • Exercises judgment to perceive patient needs and evaluates clinical records to determine appropriateness of telehealth requests.
  • Documents clinical information in electronic medical records daily, with minimal errors.
  • Coordinates with Primary TCT to open the telehealth patient room, readies the equipment for the examination, training, education, access, and establishes the online, video conferencing or other connections. Creates the appropriate clinical and/or training setting/environment using interactive technology and is knowledgeable of adult learning using interactive technology and maximizing environments to support such activity.
  • Coordinates information between facilities to expedite patient telehealth modality (SFT, HT and CVT) to access, promote and ensure maximum continuity of care.
  • Assists Primary TCT in scheduling, confirming and coordinating telehealth services of inpatients and outpatients to/from VISN to VISN, Facility to Facility, CBOC to CBOC etc., private facilities including nursing homes, hospitals and clinics.
  • Stays in room and facilitates the interaction, if this is part of the protocol or as requested. Provides hands on assistance to the provider and patient as part of the encounter, training or interaction as needed.
  • Documents patient reminders, clinical reminders, clinical interaction and closes encounters, answering questions, and performing other duties as needed to ensure a beneficial visit, online activity and/or training and support of the PACT team.
  • Makes follow up visits.
  • Performs a range of direct care duties that may include, but are not limited to such things as performing temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate.
  • Provides general clerical/administrative support coordination work for the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic methods and procedures and complex methods for coordinating and scheduling clinical care via telehealth, where the patient and provider are not located in the same place.
  • Thorough knowledge of the variations in anatomy.
  • Knowledge of telehealth technologies appropriate for each type of visit and how to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise with the technology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical experience working in a similar environment. (Outpatient clinical and/or other hospital experience preferred).
  • Ability to follow orders and works under close supervision, while demonstrating initiative and independence.
  • Ability to provide educational material to patients and/or families regarding proper health care activities, such as giving injections, taking blood pressures, etc.
  • Knowledge of the concepts of customer service technique related to population.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of computer functions and electronic medical records.
  • Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Required Education:

  • Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • LPN/LVN from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state in which the LPN/LVN practices.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Are you able and capable of working at extreme heights? At Konecranes, installation superintendents and technicians are the heart of our industry. As an installation superintendent, you will be working with engineered project teams to install complex machinery that operators on 480 3 phase motors, troubleshooting issues with our cranes, and working with clients and facility directors to ensure that our clients are properly being taken care of. Our installation superintendents have the opportunity to experience new and challenging situations with each job.PRINCIPAL Responsibilities: Responsible for on-time and on-budget execution of installations of nuclear equipment at customer locations globally working with a cross-functional project team. Project types include oversight for repairs, modernization and installation activities on electric overhead traveling cranes at a nuclear power plants government facilities and other demanding customer sites both in the USA and globally Follow all established safety rules and quality procedures, including those established by the customer and have a strong commitment to safety Arrive to project sites before install crew to verify delivery of material and equipment. Stay onsite after install crew to demobilize and ship tools and equipment from the site Manage sub-contract workforce staffing levels and collect, review and sign their service reports and other required and appropriate documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner and submit same in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain strong communication with the project team, service office and Service and Installation Supervisor, in accordance with established practices. Prior to installation, review, print and prepare document packages as necessary and communicate with other members of the installation team Evaluation of rigging plans. Collaborate rigging/installation methods to installation engineering with a positive questioning attitude. During installation need to implement those plans while recognizing potential problems or hazards Have the ability to write safety related documents and work plans Conduct customer training programs and modules as required by the contract Ability to research and procure materials and tools local to the project Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle (if applicable) and assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for resolution. Maintain uniforms in a clean and presentable manner. Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer and have a strong commitment to safety Plan and participate in monthly safety meetings. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:QualificationsOTHER Qualifications: Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license. Must be willing and able to work at elevations Must be able to pass background checks that are required to gain access to nuclear power plants and secure government facilities (A candidates legal, financial, physiological and psychological background are considered in these background checks). Previous knowledge of work at nuclear facilities a plus Must be able to work varied overtime, as required by customer, and be able to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time. Must be team oriented, solutions driven, customer focused and a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision Previous project management background is a plus Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics and BOM's. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude are a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Project and SAP are required Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry. Refresh and update knowledge periodically. Possibility to expand role during non-installation windows to include other services as deemed necessary by the Service and Installation ManagerEDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.
