Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Duties: Oversee preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medications following established protocols. Provide guidance and education to pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
  • Education & Professional Development: Participate in continuing education and professional development programs. Contribute to pharmacy staff training and hospital education initiatives. Engage in quality improvement projects and research when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Training: Completion of an accredited clinical pharmacy training program (residency preferred).
  • Certification: Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Certification required. Certificate in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care required.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted state pharmacist license in good standing.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple moderate to highly complex operations projects for NPD, process improvement & manufacturing support with minimal direction. Provide project management & technical problem solving support on high complexity projects, as needed. Consistently visualizes entire scope of a project with very little guidance.
  • Create project schedules, resource plans (RASICs), and facilitate and document project meetings.
  • Track project schedule to ensure adherence to timelines; keep team and management informed of project issues. Identify and mitigate project risks & implements risk reduction plans. Escalate as appropriate.
  • Work cross-functionally and globally with Quality & Reliability, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Supply and Demand, Marketing, and other departments.

  • Evaluate product design relative to material selection, cost, reliability and manufacturability and offer improvement ideas. Make component, material, or process recommendations.
  • Lead manufacturing process related feasibility studies. Analyzes, evaluates and selects from manufacturing alternatives to best meet objectives for capital, cost, capacity and timing.
  • Lead operational readiness & implementation. Accountable for technical elements of project execution including integration of equipment, tooling, capability reviews, manufacturing process and safety, regulatory and standards compliance.
  • Interact with operations, quality and suppliers to develop processes capable of meeting part/product specifications that meet performance requirements.
  • Serve as a technical resource to troubleshoot problems with manufacturing teams and suppliers.
  • Creates manufacturing cost models for new projects to analyze the best approach for operations business planning.
  • Interpret data and make corresponding recommendations including but not limited to: impact to financials (GM and EBIT, total CapEx), intermediate supply chain design analysis, end to end logistics modeling, risk trade off for short and long term strategy, line layout considerations for NPD if in house.
  • Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although will provide input for performance appraisals for cross functional project team members. Also oversees day-to-day activities of project team members.
  • Regularly visit the production sites and suppliers to maintain open lines of communication and provide opportunity/troubleshooting analysis as required. Sites include downtown Milwaukee, West Bend WI, Mukwonago WI, Cookeville TN, Vietnam, China. While applicant's primary location will be Milwaukee, WI (Red Beacon location) they can expect to travel across WI sites weekly, domestic sites monthly, and international sites 1-4 times per year.

Claflin University, a premier historically Black university and liberal arts institution, seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Disbursements Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll, accounts payable, and student refunds. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President/Controller, the Disbursements Manager ensures timely and accurate processing of financial disbursements in compliance with institutional policies, federal and state regulations, and industry best practices. This position plays a key role in maintaining fiscal responsibility, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the financial well-being of employees and students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all disbursement operations, including Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Student Refunds.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, including applicable tax withholdings and benefit deductions.
  • Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, purchase orders, travel reimbursements, and other payables, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
  • Manage the student refund process, including disbursement of financial aid overages, in accordance with federal regulations (e.g., Title IV) and institutional policies.
  • Maintain compliance with IRS regulations, including timely filing of W-2s, 1099s, and other required reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity and efficiency of disbursement functions.
  • Reconcile related accounts and investigate discrepancies; ensure accurate reporting to the General Ledger.
  • Serve as liaison to Human Resources, Student Financial Services, and other departments to coordinate data and resolve issues related to disbursements.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports related to payroll, payables, and refund activity for management review.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate disbursement staff, promoting a culture of accuracy, service, and compliance.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in systems, procedures, and policies; ensure optimal use of ERP system (Jenzabar).

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 35 years of progressively responsible experience in payroll and/or accounts payable, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit setting.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal payroll tax regulations and student financial aid refund processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Jenzabar or similar ERP systems preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Client Partner to manage our largest and most complex specialty accounts.

This role blends strategic consulting, operational oversight, and data-driven client guidance to ensure exceptional service delivery and long-term client success.

This role is central to strengthening client partnerships, optimizing program performance, and driving strategic value across key accounts.

We ask that you have at least 10+ years of experience with leading highly complex self-funded employer relationships.

Must have a proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar revenue portfolios, top-tier retention, and long-term client strategy through data-driven plan design.

Additionally, you'll need Concierge Customer Service skills, plan optimization knowledge, and the ability to form and maintain consultative partnerships.

All-in-all, you'll manage large employer groups with a focus on long-term retention, cost containment, and plan sustainability. This includes having oversight with any changes in laws, open enrollments, helping with complex claims, etc.

Client Partnership & Strategy

* Serve as the primary strategic advisor for large specialty accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.

* Develop multiyear account roadmaps focused on cost containment, member experience, and program optimization.

Operational Leadership

* Oversee end-to-end operational performance for assigned key accounts, ensuring seamless implementation, issue resolution, and service delivery.

* Partner with internal operations, clinical, and product teams to ensure client needs are met with precision and efficiency.

* Identify operational risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Data Analytics & Insights

* Analyze claims, utilization, and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

* Deliver data-driven insights that demonstrate program value and support strategic recommendations.
