Multilink is currently seeking a shipping clerk for an exciting new opening.This role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer orders.Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:30 am -5pm.Key Job Responsibilities Loading all truckload or LTL orders into the proper trucks Loading all small parcel into UPS and FedEx Ground trucks Organizing and labeling all freight orders with proper paperwork and/or stickers Double-check all paperwork to ensure labels, box count, product, and quantities are 100% accurate on both small parcel and LTL Alert each department when paperwork is incorrect (e.g.missing boxes, paperwork which doesn't match the corresponding labels, incorrect quantities, etc.) Maintain a clean and tidy dock Inform the Shipping Supervisor about any trucks that haven't picked up scheduled orders and ensure they are scheduled for next day Order and maintain the proper amount of UPS and FedEx thermal paper for labels Learn the routing process of LTL and small parcel Pack and ship samples for Customer Service Reps (CSRs), Inside Sales, and other departments Make sure all dock doors are locked at the end of the shift Maintain the integrity of all small parcel boxes, and all LTL when loading trucks and ground trucks (e.g.double-stacking pallets without proper equipment) -Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, order pickers and other warehouse equipment. All other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Forklift/material handling experience Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) -Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/Syspro and RF Scanners Impeccable attention to detail -Mathematic proficiency Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be able to drive a forklift and load trucks when needed Work Site Environment Working in an office or at the shipping dock during all seasons.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$17.00 - $22.00 per hour Experience:Shipping & receiving:1 year (Required) Forklift:1 year (Required) Work Location:In person.
