You will be Grow's first early talent hire, owning the function end to end: our first engineering internship cohort in New York, the new grad conversion pipeline that follows it, and a University of Waterloo co-op program. This is not a req load you work. It's a program you design, run, and scale, and as it grows across cohorts, functions, and hubs, so does your ownership. Reporting to the head of Technical Recruiting, you'll write the playbook for how Grow finds, develops, and converts the next generation of talent. People joining now aren't inheriting an idea of great work. They're writing it.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own Grow's end-to-end early talent strategy and programs, spanning campus recruiting, offer management, candidate engagement, internship delivery, and return offer planning.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering interns, developing campus strategies, building university partnerships, driving events, and managing the recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance.
  • Build and scale a year-round University of Waterloo co-op program across multiple academic terms, establishing a sustainable pipeline of top engineering talent.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to design and operate a high-quality internship program, ensuring every intern has meaningful project scope, dedicated mentorship, and strong manager support.
  • Drive program strategy and continuous improvement through data, using recruiting funnel health, conversion metrics, intern performance, and return offer outcomes to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Build scalable processes, systems, and playbooks that enable the early talent program to grow while maintaining an exceptional candidate and intern experience.

You'll Be a Good Fit If You

  • Have 6+ years of recruiting experience with significant ownership of early talent hiring, including leading at least two full campus recruiting cycles from strategy through program execution.
  • Have built, scaled, or significantly evolved an internship or co-op program, with experience across recruiting, program operations, intern experience, and evaluation.
  • Bring strong program management skills, balancing long-term planning with flawless execution across multiple recruiting cycles, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Use data to drive decisions, continuously improving recruiting outcomes, program quality, and operational efficiency through clear metrics and thoughtful analysis.
  • Embrace AI and modern recruiting technologies to work more efficiently, improve candidate experience, and scale programs without adding unnecessary complexity.
  • Enjoy building from first principles, creating strategy, establishing operating rhythms, and turning ambiguous opportunities into repeatable, high-impact programs.

Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt

Base Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $114,000$144,000 USD annually

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work onsite from our NYC hub location three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), plus campus and event travel during the fall recruiting season and 23 company or department offsites per year.

The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and the candidate's working location.

Full Time Employee Benefits

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus life and disability coverage.
  • Parental Leave & Family Support: Up to 18 weeks paid leave and a new child stipend.
  • Financial Wellness: 401(k) program and equity opportunities.
  • Meals & Home Office Support: Stipends for home office setup and ongoing funds for meals, with tailored perks for both remote and in-office employees.
  • Time Off to Recharge: Flexible PTO, 12 paid holidays, and a full winter break week.
  • Wellness & Development: Annual stipends to put towards personal & professional growth.
  • Mental & Physical Health Support: No-cost access to therapy through the Grow platform, weekly flexible hours for self-care ("Mental Health Mornings/Afternoons") and memberships to leading wellness apps (such as One Medical, Headspace, and Talkspace).
  • Extra Perks: Pet insurance discounts, commuter benefits, and global travel assistance.

Research shows that some groups hesitate to apply unless they meet every qualification. If you're excited about this role but don't check every box, we encourage you to apply. At Grow, we value diverse experiences, transferable skills, and the unique strengths each person brings.
