About the Role

In this role, you will support the store leadership team by performing functional tasks as assigned. The Med Lab Scientist 3 performs and monitors a full range of laboratory tests and studies. Assists with supervising laboratory operations. Assumes responsibility for problem resolution, quality control, and equipment maintenance with minimal supervision.

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a highly skilled CNC Press Brake Operator for our client in Vancouver, WA as a long standing leader in the healthcare equipment manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Trumpf CNC press brake machines to accurately bend and shape sheet metal components according to detailed specifications, requiring a keen attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform machine and tooling setups and subsequent first article inspections

  • Follow job travelers, engineering drawings, and technical specifications with precision

  • Execute and document quality control checkpoints throughout the forming process

  • Utilize Trumpf TruBend 7036, 7050, and 5085 CNC Brake Presses, which access a server-stored library of part programs

  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily production targets while maintaining precise quality standards

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation in compliance with FDA and ISO manufacturing requirements

  • Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement

  • Proper retrieval and storage of materials and subassemblies to support production

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of CNC Brake Press Operating experience (Trumpf experience preferred)

  • Proficiency with calipers, angle gauges, micrometers, and other measuring devices

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions

  • Ability to make computer entries of production quantities and quality checks

  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship

  • Ability to work efficiently in a production environment while meeting quality standards

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • If selected, ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Schedule

  • Train on DAY shift (M-F 6:30am-3:00pm), then move to SWING shift (M-Th 3pm-1:30am)

Starting Pay

  • $22-26/hr DOE (with differential once on Swing shift)
