Description

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the operations leadership, Service Technicians will be held to a high standard of service. ICEE has a commitment to success: to our customers, partners, and team members. Service Technicians are required to service all ICEE and restaurant equipment including Frozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, juice dispensers, etc. Service Technicians will work with minimal supervision and are required to attend weekly meetings held in their Service Center. Team members in this role are provided with a vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives dispatched service calls as assigned and ensures a prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA).
  • Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots or diagnoses service problems, and completes repairs as needed. Checks quality of all products i.e.: checking syrup levels, changing out flavors, cleaning around machines, etc.
  • Maintains inventory and maintenance on equipment such as: parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
  • Reviews service orders and service performed with the respective supervisor. Keeps his/her supervisor informed of customer concerns, needs, and up-selling opportunities.
  • Documents all work performed and closes out all activities upon completion.
  • Clearly communicates with both customers and co-workers.
  • Performs assigned general warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, rotating product, shipping and receiving of equipment, parts, and product.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Competencies:

  • Must be able to successfully maintain customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations, and service.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Great oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical background.
  • Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required.
  • Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
  • Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Pay from: $22/hour

Pay is commensurate with experience, education, skills, training, and certifications.

ICEE Academy - The ICEE Academy Training program provides essential technical training in equipment, service, and repair, typically held at the ICEE Academy in La Vergne, TN, or other designated locations. Training generally lasts two weeks, with possible weekend sessions. Attendance and eligibility are determined based on role, performance metrics, and certifications. Successful completion is required for continued employment, and failure to meet training standards may result in reassignment or termination. Regular hourly wages and applicable overtime are paid during training. You are responsible to have a valid Real-ID for travel purposes. Details of this requirement will be discussed during the hiring process.

This includes, but is not limited to proper tariff classification, duty valuation, permitting, free trade agreements and assessing Petco's overall import compliance program.

Must be a strong communicator and leader able to work across various levels and functions within the organization. Individual must be self-driven with minimal supervision required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor information flow of products specifications and sample products submitted from international vendors. Determine the proper HTS and Schedule B product classification for all existing and newly introduced SKUs.
  • Establish and maintain relationship and Standard Operating Procedures for Customs Brokerage House.
  • Analyze and interpret financial and import data for financial validation, customs bond analysis and internal audits. Maintain recordkeeping protocols per customs regulations.
  • Maintain import compliance, C-TPAT and regulatory training program to drive an overall awareness through the PETCO organization and drive accountability to those with responsibilities (e.g. Supply Chain & Product Development team).
  • Analyze and interpret CFRs 19/21/7, HTSUS, and existing/developing international trade agreements and prepare recommendations for merchandizing and product development teams as to the best cost while complying within PETCO's ethical practices and quality standards.
  • Interact and collaborate with Product Development Managers to convey sourcing opportunities that leverage Free Trade Agreement and minimize duties rates for international sourcing initiatives.
  • Respond to requests by FDA and US Customs such as CF28, CF29 and/or Focus Assessments.
  • Develop strategic plans in concert with other department executive teams to ensure the PETCO fully complies with trade federal regulations. Effectively work with internal & external legal teams on compliance initiatives.
  • Submit Permits and Licenses needed to import our products such as: APHIS, Fish and Wildlife Service, NOOA.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role; an equivalent combination of relative working experience and education may be substituted for degree.
  • Working knowledge of imports, exports and associated regulations and tariffs including retail global supply chain experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, organize and track fine details of projects, communicate effectively verbally and in writing with international suppliers and work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Proven advanced ability to use applications within MS Office Suite as well as advanced ability to extract and analyze data from databases and make appropriate recommendations having significant margin impact.

Preference may be given to candidates demonstrating knowledge and abilities in the following areas:

  • Customs Brokers License, Certified Customs Specialist, or similar certification

As a Contracts/Subcontract Administrator at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Review, draft, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and amendments in compliance with project and company requirements.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, and legal frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts, subcontracts, and change orders simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented approach to tracking and maintaining contract documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, contract documents, and correspondence.
