Compensation: Salary Range: $54.08 - $81.59 per hour. The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Responsibilities: The RN Case Manager I, Emergency Department/Critical Care Unit (ED/CCU) works with patients and families admitted into the Emergency Department and/or Critical Care Unit along with the healthcare team in the collaborative development of a plan for discharge and arrangement of any post-acute care services. Medical Director Position

The medical director of VITAS fulfills two primary functions, each of which is expected to consume approximately one half of the time and work effort of the position:

  • The medical director has overall responsibility for medical direction of the care and treatment of patients and their families rendered by the hospice care team, and shall consult and cooperate with the patient's attending physician. The medical director provides physician direction and guidance to the hospice program, its physician employees, and other staff and volunteers to assure the maintenance of quality standards of care for patients and families.
  • The medical director educates practicing physicians and others engaged in health care services regarding the hospice program and its potential benefits to patients.

In fulfilling the two primary functions explained above, the medical director performs the following duties:

  • Quality of Clinical Care
    • Assure appropriate evaluation and certification of terminal prognosis of patients.
    • Assure the quality of initial plans of care.

    • In Wisconsin the medical director also supervises the following functions of the consultant pharmacist:
      • Ensure medications are utilized within accepted standards of practice.
      • Ensure a system is developed and maintained that documents the disposal of controlled drugs.
  • Community Relations
    • Educate community physicians on the principles of palliative medicine.
    • Provide resource and consultative support to community physicians in palliative medicine.
    • Attend and present at medical staff and other medical community conferences on palliative medicine.
    • Serve as liaison between the hospice and community physicians.
    • Make regular contacts with practicing physicians to introduce the hospice program, to educate physicians regarding individuals for whom hospice may be appropriate, and to answer clinical and other concerns of physicians with respect to hospice.
    • Assist in introducing the VITAS program to long term care providers, managed care providers, hospitals, and others.
    • Conduct educational seminars, in services, and presentations to physicians, nurses, and other health care audiences whose support for and understanding of the hospice program is integral to assuring that hospice services are made accessible to patients and families.
  • Education and Research
    • Assist in the development of and actively participate in clinical training for all hospice patient care and admissions personnel.

Qualifications:

Job Description

As an Engineering Trades Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring the resort's buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position is responsible for supervising skilled trades team members, coordinating maintenance projects, supporting capital improvements, and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and guest satisfaction. You demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.

What You'll Do as an Engineering Trades Manager:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise engineering trades team members to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Plan, assign, and coordinate daily maintenance operations, work orders, and staffing schedules.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ongoing resort improvement projects.
• Support capital projects by ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational improvements.
• Monitor departmental productivity, guest feedback, and work order completion.
• Manage tools, materials, inventory, vendors, and contractor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other resort departments to support guest satisfaction and operational needs.
• Provide hands-on assistance with maintenance operations when needed.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Resort Operations leadership.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring as an Engineering Trades Manager:

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a resort, hospitality, commercial, or maintenance environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education preferred.
• Trade certifications or licenses in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or related fields are preferred.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Ability to identify hazards, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and emergency response situations as needed.
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
• Required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
