We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Deployment Specialist to join our team. This position requires onsite client support 5-days a week at one of our client locations, giving you the opportunity to directly impact client operations and satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a skilled troubleshooter with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys solving problems and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. They bring a customer-first attitude, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. 

Your Daily Impact

• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop/laptop setups, peripheral maintenance, networked printer configurations, line-of-business software problems, and general printer repairs.
• Manage deployments for enterprise-level workstations and tablets.
• Create and track service tickets, escalating as needed to teammates, vendors, or 3rd-party support providers.
• Collaborate with users to clarify issues, set expectations, and deliver exceptional service.
• Report client or quality concerns to management for continuous improvement.
• Perform Active Directory user management and collaborate with teammates to meet service delivery goals.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Measuring Your Success

• Consistently resolve incidents within agreed-upon service levels.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the ticketing system.
• Provide excellent customer service that earns positive client feedback.
• Contribute to team collaboration and uphold Bellwether’s service delivery standards.

Beneficial Knowledge

• Familiarity with current versions of Windows Server.
• Understanding of networking technologies such as routers, switches, LAN/WAN protocols (including Ethernet), and VPN/RDP protocols.
• Experience imaging, loading, testing, and verifying varying PCs/desktops. 

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in a technical support or IT help desk role (internship/volunteer work accepted).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to client sites within the region.
• Ability to lift and transport IT equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work in varied physical settings.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Completion of some college coursework in IT, computer science, or a related field (degree preferred).

Additional Information: This position may require lifting equipment up to 50 lbs., prolonged periods of standing or sitting, and travel to and from client sites. Hotel Overview:

Located in the heart of downtown Fairmont New Orleans will be an impressive new addition to Fairmont’s luxury portfolio, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, four food & drink venues, a rooftop pool with expansive views of the city, more than 19,000 square feet of function space, and a 10,000 square-foot spa.

This property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city’s renowned and historic French Quarter.

• Consistently provide warm, professional, engaging, and personalized service to guests while upholding Fairmont New Orleans luxury hospitality standards.
• Welcome guests to the pool area and assist with seating, chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other pool amenities.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of pool facilities, operating hours, hotel amenities, pool policies, and available Food & Beverage services.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance throughout the guest's pool experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the pool deck, lounge areas, furniture, cabanas, entrances, and surrounding recreational areas.
• Regularly inspect pool areas for cleanliness, spills, debris, damaged furniture, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns and promptly report issues to the appropriate department.
• Ensure pool towels, amenities, furniture, and guest service supplies are properly stocked, organized, and readily available.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down pool areas, including arranging chairs, umbrellas, tables, towels, and other guest amenities according to established standards.
• Monitor the condition and presentation of pool furniture, cabanas, umbrellas, and other guest-use equipment and communicate maintenance needs to Engineering or leadership.
• Maintain appropriate awareness of pool capacity, hotel policies, guest conduct, and safety procedures and communicate concerns to leadership as necessary.
• Follow all established pool safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or emergencies to the appropriate leadership.
• Assist with emergency response procedures as directed and follow hotel Health & Safety policies at all times.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage teams regarding poolside dining and beverage service, guest requests, and special occasions as applicable.
• Assist guests with poolside amenities, including requests for towels, seating, cabanas, umbrellas, and other available services.
• Support personalized service for VIPs, repeat guests, special occasions, and hotel events taking place in or around the pool area.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain discretion when interacting with guests and handling personal belongings.
• Handle guest concerns and service requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues to leadership when appropriate.
• Support service recovery efforts and follow up to ensure guest concerns are resolved to the guest's satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of weather conditions and communicate operational concerns to leadership as necessary, including conditions that may affect pool operations.
• Follow proper procedures for inclement weather, pool closures, evacuations, and other operational changes.
• Maintain accurate records, checklists, logs, and other pool-related documentation as required.
• Assist with inventory management of pool supplies, amenities, towels, and equipment and communicate replenishment needs to leadership.
• Collaborate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Guest Services, Security, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless pool operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance consistent with Fairmont New Orleans grooming and uniform standards.
• Participate in daily briefings, departmental meetings, training sessions, pre-opening initiatives, and hotel-wide programs as required.
• Follow all Fairmont New Orleans policies, procedures, service standards, Health & Safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and collaborative environment consistent with Fairmont's values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, and Excellence.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort, pool, recreation, hospitality, or guest service environment preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation with a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional, calm, and solution-oriented when responding to guest requests or concerns.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
• Ability to work independently while remaining an engaged and collaborative member of the hotel team.
• Ability to recognize and promptly report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, accidents, or other operational issues.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures, hotel policies, and operational standards consistently.
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Fairmont New Orleans luxury service standards.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, sun, rain, and other environmental conditions.
• Ability to remain attentive and active throughout the shift while performing guest service and pool area maintenance responsibilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry supplies and equipment as required to perform essential job duties.
• Ability to lift and carry towels, supplies, pool equipment, and other items as required.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required by the hotel.
• Lifeguard certification is an asset if required for or applicable to the hotel's pool operations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operationally required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
