Job Summary The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to members and guests at the club. This position supports the golf operations team by assisting with essential outside services, such as bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas. The attendant is responsible for staging and storing golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use. Reporting Structure Reports to the Supervisor Outside Services

Day to Day Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support, including cleaning clubs and delivering them to cars as needed.

Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member/guest experience and ensure they enjoy all the amenities.

Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track their usage, and ensure carts are cleaned, well-maintained, and inspected for damage. Report any issues to the Golf Shop.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, and external spaces such as the parking lot and pro shop entrance, ensuring they are neat, safe, and free of debris.

Set up and manage practice areas, ensuring they are stocked with equipment such as range balls and prepared for daily use.

Collaborate with other golf operations staff, including range attendants, marshals, and starters, to ensure seamless, efficient service throughout the day.

Complete daily assignments in designated areas, ensuring all tasks meet club standards, including maintaining work areas and keeping the Golf Shop organized and fully stocked.

Additional Duties Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide revenue and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support to Program Managers.
  • Led project setup in compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and requirements.
  • Prepare program financial Estimates at Complete (EACs) and meet deadlines for corporate submission requirements.
  • Identify project financial risks and opportunities and provide analytical contributions in working resolution with PM, Contracts, Procurement, and Accounting.

  • Prepare/Support Ops Review presentations for management.
  • Prepare financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for programs.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met and customer financial deliverables are accurate and timely.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis on the contract as requested by PMO and others.
  • Monitor funding status, providing reliable and timely notification of funding status by line item detail as required.
  • Support accounts receivable as required during billing processing.
  • Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals as GAAP and internal policies receive services/goods to ensure that the project's cost/commitment is accurately captured and reported internally and externally.
  • Ensure program revenue and profit are recorded in compliance with the EAC.
  • Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.
  • Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley, FAR, and all company policies and procedures regarding contract performance and financials.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Must possess a strong background working with multiple government contract types: FFP, FPI, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, and hybrid contracts.
  • Strong working knowledge in Excel and overall MS Office suite and a working knowledge of relevant software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.
  • Must be analytical, possess strong communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior Government Contracting experience. Deltek Costpoint experience.

  • Helps to ensure “best in class” service is extended and delivered to all Sudden Service guests.
  • Develops, and can develop in others, a passion for the Sudden Service offering and culture.
  • Acts as a role model for all elements of the Sudden Service culture and core values.
  • Train, develop, and lead team members to go above and beyond for each guest.
  • Provides daily coaching to individual staff on their roles in delivering the Sudden Service store culture and values.
  • Ensures all products are produced, merchandised, and maintained according to Sudden Service standards.
  • Ensures all required inventory levels, freshness, and product rotation standards are maintained.
  • Maintains all Sudden Service interior and exterior image standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years of retail or hospitality industry experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for career development in self and others.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (carrying cases of milk, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environments.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with MS Excel

Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Business and Sport Management


The Sport Management Program in the Department of Business at Covenant College, an agency of the Presbyterian Church in America and an academically rigorous Christian college emphasizing the liberal arts in the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning July 1, 2026. Rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience.


The candidate who fills this position will be someone with both academic and practitioner experience in sport management or business with a sports focus, who is capable of teaching a variety of undergraduate sport management and business courses.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach a variety of undergraduate courses in core areas within the sport management and business majors
    • Priority will be given to candidates who can teach sport law and business law, and/or analytically oriented courses
    • Teaching load: 24 credits per academic year, with a course release in the first semester
  • Engage in research, scholarship, and other professional activities
  • Collaborate with the sports industry by working on real-world events alongside students, providing experiential learning opportunities
  • Mentor and advise undergraduate students
  • Participate in the life of the campus community and faculty governance


Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in Sport Management, Business Administration, or related business area (Economics, Finance, Analytics, etc.) from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • ABD candidates or candidates with a Master's Degree in Sport Management, an MBA, or a JD with relevant experience working in sport will also be considered.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior teaching and/or research experience in sport business, or a business area that touches/connects to the sport industry.
  • Practitioner experience in sport management/business that will elevate academic instruction in the classroom and help prepare students for careers in the field
  • Commitment to the mission of Covenant College
