Physician Clinic Medical Director
Location: Sparks, Nevada. This role offers physicians a clinical practice with opportunities for quality improvement, business development, and leadership within a supportive team environment.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary ($287,000–$310,000 annually), Director Stipend, and performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care, leading by example to create an exceptional patient experience.
- Provides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of the medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
- Manages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirements.
- Creates a professional and collaborative working environment.
- Works with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement.
- Maintains relationships with center clients and payers.
- Manages clinical and support staffing levels in collaboration with the medical clinic leadership team.
- Promotes Concentra values for all clinic colleagues.
- Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
- Possesses financial awareness and provides input to clinic budget and key business metrics.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for the state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
- Eligible to participate in Medicare.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty (preferred).
- FMCSA NRCME certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
