About The Opportunity

UPMC's Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full-time, interventional cardiologist to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment and provide interventional services at its UPMC Jameson location. HVI at UPMC Jameson, in collaboration with its Pittsburgh interventional colleagues, provides 24/7 STEMI coverage. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEE's, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps as well as peripheral angiogram and intervention by vascular surgery. HVI's service at UPMC Jameson, and nearby UPMC Horizon, together are comprised of 4 full-time cardiologists currently (2 interventionalists with 2 non-invasive cardiologists now & growing to 6 combined) as well as 10 APPs serving two suburban areas near Pittsburgh. In addition to these full-time providers, there are part-time services provided by 4 Electrophysiologists (including pacemaker clinic), a Heart Failure specialist, 3 vascular surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon, and 1 cardiothoracic surgeon. HVI's outpatient office in New Castle is located inside UPMC Jameson, as are a full range of diagnostic services including 2 cath labs. HVI Horizon-Greenville is located within UPMC Horizon Greenville, and HVI Horizon-Shenango is located across the street from UPMC Horizon Shenango.

We are seeking a board-certified Urologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urologic conditions affecting patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care. This role includes both outpatient consultations and surgical procedures in JFK Main and Bethesda East and West.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage conditions related to the kidneys, bladder, urethra, and male reproductive organs.
Perform common urologic procedures such as cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, stone treatments, and other outpatient or surgical interventions.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as cystoscopies, urodynamics, and imaging studies
Manage conditions including kidney stones, incontinence, urinary tract infections, prostate issues, and cancers of the bladder, kidneys, and prostate
Perform urologic surgeries including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures
Prescribe and monitor medications and nonsurgical treatments
Collaborate with primary care physicians, oncologists, nephrologists, and other specialists as needed
Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board certified in Urology
Completion of an accredited Urology residency program
Valid medical license (or ability to obtain) in the state of Florida
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of post-residency clinical practice (new grads welcome to apply)
Experience with robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques
Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic)
Fellowship preferred in subspecialties such as urologic oncology, endourology, or female urology

Position Overview
An established cancer program is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician to provide full-time outpatient coverage due to physician retirements and relocations.
