JOB PURPOSE Inspect sofas and chairs in different stages of production to ensure a quality product was produced.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a visual inspection of the finished product to ensure:

  • Stitches are straight
  • Ensure pattern is correct according to production ticket
  • Ensure piece is Upholstered correctly to specifications
  • Ensure there are no holes or flaws in the Fabric / Leather
  • Ensure legs and finishes of legs are correct
  • Make repairs as needed Push piece back to upholster to correct issues
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In close collaboration with senior finance and operations staff, lead the annual operating budget planning process for a variety of programs and locations including but not limited to HFH's Center for Culinary Education and Employment, Early Childhood Education, and Afterschool and Recreation.
  • Partner with Executive Management and program staff to ensure budgets align with program needs, contractual requirements, and organizational goals.
  • Validate expense allocations against approved budgets to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly budget reviews to promote fiscal and operational efficiency, presenting findings and making recommendations to relevant staff.
  • Work with Senior Management in the preparation and review of requests for Proposals and grant applications; developing proposed lined budgets and budget narratives.
  • Analyze personnel and non-personnel spending, identify efficiencies, and recommend budget adjustments.
  • Assist the Director of Administration with procurement of RFPs/RFQs and bid level comparison analysis.
  • Assist with program planning, resource assessment, funding identification, and budget projections.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least three years' experience with budget and/or contract operations.
  • Familiarity with Fund Accounting and experience managing grant budgets is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with experience producing financial and budget reports.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for different audiences.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

Operate the Draw Bench to achieve the required dimensions on the drawn tube and no surface defects in the seamless tubes/pipes of a particular grade, Heat number and customer, including but not limited to Hydraulic Push Pointing machine and other processing equipment.

Monitor the drawing process to ensure the design production rate by maintaining correct draw speed and number of tubes drawn per hour. Adjust drawing parameters to rectify any process deviations or changes in production requirements.

Conduct quality control checks by thoroughly inspecting the first drawn Tube for minimum bend, no surface defects and measuring Inner Dia, Outer Dia and wall thickness, to ensure the process is behaving normal and as required.

If the draw process results are not satisfactory, in consultation with the production Engineer, take corrective actions. Also identify and keep separately the non-confirming lot. It should be quarantined till further actions are planned on the same.

Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot to minimize the down time.

Record process data and maintain accurate logs of production activities, equipment performance and maintenance schedules. Knowledge about the use of measuring instruments like Micrometer, Vernier etc. is a must. Follow material traceability and identification instructions religiously.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with industry regulations.

Collaborate with other team members, including Production engineer, Tooling Engineer and Quality control personnel, to optimize and improve the draw process efficiency and quality.

Ensure general housekeeping in the area.

Qualifications

Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge

Experience with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machining techniques

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and assist with the wiring of street lighting and traffic signal and equipment
  • Report to General Foreperson any issues involving maintenance of truck or equipment
  • Will have contact with public and private property owners to communicate the work to be performed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work in a bucket or platform truck/device (L1-L3)
  • Able to read blueprints/plans and construct as per plans (L2-L3)
  • Able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers. (L2-L3)
  • Able to operate various equipment in order to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick/Boom Trk etc) (L2-L3)

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
