Job Functions

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  1. Feed books and media items onto commercial conveyor belt system
  2. Accurately represent items in photographs and listing, including notating damage, etc.
  3. Determine merchandise value based on quality, trends, brands, and price guides
  4. Move materials as needed throughout warehouse facility to support shipping and transportation in loading/unloading area.
  5. Uses software and hardware to properly dispose of data-on-data bearing devices following appropriate procedures
  6. Organize and maintain inventory by stocking and stowing product that has been listed
  7. Analyze, interpret and act on customer inquiries regarding a broad range of subjects including but not limited to: orders, order status, pricing, item descriptions, inventory and shipping/receiving
  8. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using hand tools, tape guns, postage scales, packing paper/bubble wrap, and other shipping tools and supplies
  9. Utilize shipping software accurately and efficiently to ensure all items are shipped using the most cost-effective carrier
  10. Assist with training and mentoring of associates.
  11. Maintain production environment standards with a positive and team focused process, assuring optimal efficiencies.
  12. Maintain an organized and clean work area, follow safety procedures, using PPE as needed and uses body mechanics when performing each task.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, FAST Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict. Must be self-directed and have the ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance.

Working Conditions

Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate. The Site Attendant is integral in ensuring a supportive and secure environment for clients, addressing immediate daily needs, ensuring safety, and upholding cleanliness standards that promote the well-being of the resident.

The starting pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for $1.00 swing shift differential and $2.00 graveyard shift differential. The schedule for this position is 3:00pm to 11:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals to clients while following food safety practices.
  • Assist with client intakes and outtakes by preparing client bed area and enforcing client site rules/policies
  • Check in with clients on-site and perform walk-throughs of dorm/room areas to ensure client safety and welfare to include de-escalation and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct periodic checks of client belongings to ensure that prohibited items are not brought on-site.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment while using universal precautions which may include the need to decontaminate and dispose of bodily fluids.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility, including performing daily cleaning of high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, and bathrooms, ensuring all areas are sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine janitorial cleaning including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintain cleanliness of facility, kitchen, hallways, offices, and client dorm/room areas.
  • Drive clients to and from appointments/general program activities as scheduled or authorized.
  • Update transportation logs and inform supervisor of any vehicle issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicles.
  • Pick up client medications and assist with client move outs, etc.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by leadership as needed.

  • Set and maintain healthy boundaries with clients and staff.
  • Be able to meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Communicate any concerns and feedback to the Site Manager with tact and professionalism.

  • Reviews driver vehicle inspection reports and repair inspections as directed by Mechanic 3s and/or the Fleet Manager
  • Performs routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  • Inspects and replaces basic components like belts, hoses, batteries, and lights
  • Assists in diagnosing mechanical issues using basic diagnostic tools
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas
  • Documents work performed and parts used through maintenance logs or fleet management systems
  • Supports Mechanic 2 and 3,under their supervision, with more complex repairs and diagnostics
  • Responds to roadside service calls for disabled vehicles when required
  • Responsible for being familiar with and observing all company safety rules and regulations; recognizes that safety is top company priority; attends regularly scheduled safety meetings
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs (travel as needed)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must have valid Driver's license
  • 1+ year experience in vehicle maintenance or related technical field
  • Must have personal basic tool set to perform preventative maintenance (based on location)
  • Basic understanding of diesel and gasoline engine operation and components
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
  • Experience with basic computer tasks and use of fleet software
  • Detail oriented; highly organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL preferred, may be required based on requirements of the location
  • Brake certification preferred, must be obtained within 6 months of hire date
