Home Infusion Registered Nurse (PRN)

CSI is a rapidly growing national specialty pharmacy. Whether you work directly with patients or behind the scenes in support of the business and its employees, you will use your expertise, experience, and skills to support our patients and our mission.

This position is available for licensed Registered Nurses (RN). Under a nurse's supervision, performs designated technical, clerical, and clinical task associated with patient home care, including assessment, obtaining IV access, port access, education, and infusion of injectable medications. In addition, performs designated tasks regarding pharmacy quality control, management of pharmacy & nursing records, inventory control and preparation of orders for drugs.

Pay Range: $50 - $53/hour (DOE) which covers from the time you leave your home to see patients until the time you get back home + mileage at $.48/mile

Location: Bend, OR

Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 2 hours out from Bend, OR area to see patients in their homes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Administer Infusions and Injections: Administer specialty medications via IV, subcutaneous injections, or other methods as prescribed by the healthcare provider. Monitor patients during the infusion process for any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Patient Assessment: Assess the patient's medical history, allergies, and current medications before administering treatments. Evaluate the patient's physical condition and vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate) before, during, and after infusions. Identify and document any potential risks, side effects, or issues related to the infusion therapy.
  • Education and Counseling: Educate patients and caregivers about their medication, including how it works, potential side effects, and what to expect during the treatment process. Provide instructions on how to manage side effects or emergencies at home after the infusion.
  • Patient Monitoring and Follow-up: Continuously monitor patients for immediate reactions during and after infusions. Schedule follow-up calls or visits to monitor patient progress and any delayed side effects. Provide feedback with adjusting care plans based on feedback or changes in the patient's health.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of the infusion process, patient responses, any adverse events, and medication administration. Document patient education and follow-up instructions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy policies.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with nursing team, pharmacists, and other pharmacy staff members to ensure optimal patient care and coordination of treatment plans. Communicate any issues or concerns regarding treatment effectiveness or patient reactions to the clinical nurse supervisor.
  • Medication Management: Ensure the proper preparation and handling of medications, adhering to safety standards. Verify that the right medication and dosage are provided for each patient.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Ensure sterile techniques and safety protocols are followed during the infusion process. Adhere to infection control guidelines and prevent any contamination during the preparation or administration of medications.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor medication stock levels to ensure adequate supply of specialty medications and other infusion-related supplies. Coordinate with the pharmacy team to manage inventory and ensure the availability of needed medications.
  • Support for Specialty Medication Services: Offer support for insurance verification or authorization processes related to specialty medications.

Qualification Requirements

  • College degree/certification required or equivalent experience.

The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for supervising all packaging department activities on a daily basis. This position supervises the production, quality, and warehousing of packed product in a manner that is consistent with company standards, service and cost objectives. Coordinate and interface with engineering for equipment preventive maintenance and validation such as IQ, OQ and PQ.
  • Manage department audits to ensure all department operations are in compliance with cGMP and related SOPs. Audit employee training data and production batch record.
  • Provide training and develop staff to ensure good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed. Responsible for Packaging Planned deviation, CAPA, Change control. Write and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Investigate customer complaints.
  • Perform regular inspections of the department facilities and equipment to assess and ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMPs and safety requirements. Schedule and issues work orders to maintenance department for maintenance and repair of encapsulation and ancillary machines to minimize breakdowns and improve efficiency and productivity. Coordinate and interface with Engineering for equipment changes and upgrades.
  • Supervise, develop, mentor, engage and evaluate employees. Conduct annual performance reviews and complete appropriate documentation, training, and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Ensure packaging line clearance after cleaning as per SOP
  • Responsible for Global Serialization System and assist in troubleshooting when needed.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the entire packaging line, in process and challenge test as per the packaging procedure.
  • Provide input during NOI investigation and CAPA.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other functions as required or assigned.
  • Adhere to company policies, standards, rules and regulations.
  • Complies with all company policies and standards.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School or GED 7 years of related work experience - Required
  • Associate Degree 5 years of related work experience - Preferred
  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) 3 years of related work experience - Preferred

Experience:

  • 7 years or more in HS + 7 years -manufacturing experience including supervisory experience in Pharmaceutical & Manufacturing and Packaging

The base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months.   • Awareness of cloud security practices across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including MFA and SSO.
  • Basic working knowledge of common security tools, such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection solutions, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Proficiency with program and project management tools, including MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $150,000-$165,000 along with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, inspection and maintenance services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops and other elevated structures in conjunction with the Crew Foreman and Tower Technician(s).
  • Perform ground-based civil scopes when applicable in support of radio systems cabling, grounding, interconnects and/or conduits.
  • Complete work on time, efficiently, and profitably.
  • Adhere to KMM and Industry safety and quality control requirements at all times; Ensure lower level Tower Technicians adhere to the same.
  • Identify and work with all required materials, tools and equipment needed to complete assigned work.
  • Communicate effectively with Crew Foreman, and other Crew members at all times.
  • Assist Crew Foreman with execution of all manner of site related duties/responsibilities, including Close-out documentation.
  • Assist with training and skill development for less experienced Tower Technicians.
  • Dedication to continued training and professional development.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean and operational condition at all times.
  • Interact professionally with Customer Representatives.
  • Help KMM grow and develop the KMM Market Team and the overall Company Brand.
  • Certifications in Tower Climbing, OSHA, RF Awareness, First Aid and Safety, NWSA, and Rigging.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 2-3 years tower construction experience preferred.
  • Comtrain or equivalent climbing certification preferred (Training will be provided by KMM otherwise).
  • Knowledge of diagnostic test equipment preferred (Sweep/Fiber/PIM testing, etc).
  • Must be flexible to work overtime (weekend and evening work sometimes required).
  • Must be flexible to work out of Market when/where required as site locations dictate.
  • Must be comfortable climbing and working at heights on towers, rooftops, water towers and other elevated structures
