Team and Cross-functional Leadership

  • Build and lead a cross-functional performance team spanning paid media, creative, content, and analytics.
  • Partner closely with creative, product, retail, operations, agencies and legal teams to ensure alignment on execution and efficiency.
  • Act as the company’s internal authority on growth strategy, paid media performance, and scaling best practices.

Head of Growth Marketing
Reach Industries
boston, ma
Compensation: 125.000 - 150.000

At Reach Industries, we believe in augmenting humanity by designing intelligent systems that empower people to do more of what they’re uniquely built for: thinking, creating, exploring, and solving. Our first focus is Science – one of the most complex, valuable and regulated domains.

Our first product, Lumi, is a visual AI copilot for scientists that automates data capture, insights, and lab workflows so they can focus on the big picture and accelerate science. Lumi is already in use across life science organisations, from biotech to pharma, and we’re just getting started.

We’re an early‑stage startup with deep roots in frontier technologies and a shared obsession with making science better. We’ve shipped the first version of the Lumi platform, have strong pull from early customers, and are now looking for a Head of Growth Marketing to own and scale our go-to-market engine.

Role Brief

As Head of Growth Marketing, reporting into our CEO, own the demand generation strategy and end‑to‑end execution for Reach Industries. You’ll combine growth marketing, brand, and partnerships to consistently generate high‑quality opportunities for the sales team and accelerate market adoption; from defining ICPs and messaging to running high‑impact campaigns and ensuring pipeline growth.

This is a role for an operator who thrives in early‑stage environments. Someone who can switch between strategy and execution, launch campaigns fast, and build scalable processes for the future. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and leadership to align marketing with commercial priorities and set the foundation for a world‑class marketing function.

Your Impact

As Head of Growth Marketing at Reach Industries, you will:

  • Own growth strategy across channels: content, events, paid, outbound, partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial to define and refine ICPs, personas, and value propositions.
  • Build and operate demand gen programs and marketing automation (nurtures, scoring, etc.).
  • Partner tightly with Sales on funnel targets, SLAs and feedback loops.
  • Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and integrations.
  • Own website, collateral, case studies and thought leadership calendar.
  • Track key funnel metrics and run experiments to improve conversion and CAC.
  • Over time, hire and manage a small growth/marketing team and agencies.

Your Experience

  • Strong B2B growth / demand gen experience for technical or enterprise products.
  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience, senior enough to own marketing as a function but still hands‑on.
  • Experience being the first person to set up Growth Marketing for a US side start up.
  • Proven track record in demand generation and growth marketing, with strong pipeline impact.
  • Hands‑on campaign execution across both organic and paid channels, with the ability to test, learn, and scale what works.
  • Hands‑on with CRM and marketing automation tools; comfortable with attribution.
  • Ability to write strong copy and produce simple creative assets, design‑aware and resourceful.
  • Analytical and experimental mindset: test‑and‑learn, data‑driven, adaptable.
  • Collaborative and commercially minded, comfortable cross‑collaborating with SDRs, Sales, and Leadership.
  • Background in B2B SaaS, AI, or life sciences is essential. Experience with partner/ecosystem strategies is a big plus.

We offer a competitive compensation package (salary, commission, Healthcare, 401k and equity), plus the flexibility and tools you need to do your best work. You’ll have significant influence on how the commercial function is built and will join a small, highly motivated team at a pivotal moment in our growth.

Celebrating Diversity

We encourage, support, and celebrate diversity in the workplace and in all aspects of life. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to ensure a balanced and fair approach to all aspects of employment.

This role is based onsite in Boston, please apply if you are able to work 2-3 days onsite per week.

  • 8 years leading manufacturing facility construction and production line activation projects (greenfield or major brownfield expansions)
  • Proven track record of standing up at least 2 major manufacturing facilities or production lines from concept to full operation
  • Demonstrated experience leading large cross‑functional teams (40+ people) with accountability for schedule, budget, and performance outcomes
  • Experience managing capital projects $50M+ from design through commissioning

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Active US Secret Security Clearance is preferred
  • Solid Rocket Motor or aerospace/defense manufacturing experience highly desired
