Graduate Medical Education is growing at UHS in Southern California. We are adding Neurology to our suite of programs in 2023, and are looking for an experienced candidate to fill this residency leadership role:

Program Director for new Neurology GME program at 35% FTE
Must have specialty expertise and at least 3+ years of recent documented educational and/or administrative experience in an accredited Neurology GME program
Must have a clear and active California medical license with clean background and board history
Position has NO call requirements
Hospital has separate contract group for inpatient and neuro call
Remaining 65% FTE will be in outpatient clinical practice with an established and highly reputable neurosciences group

Looking for a provider to join our team who will work collaboratively with both internal and external customers, actively participate in oncology committees, grow referrals, improve patient & team satisfaction, and provide high quality oncologic care.

Must be board certified or board eligible in hematology and medical oncology. Regular appointments include consultations, follow-up visits, treatment assessments, and bone marrow biopsies. Role is approximately 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient. Call includes 1:4 weekends Epic EHR.

Provides annual physical and neurological examinations and summary of previous year s medical illnesses and treatment for all patients in designated areas within 30 days of the anniversary of their admission date and prior to their annual ICTP.
Participates in the on-campus evening, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibility as needed.
Ensures the attending psychiatrist and Treatment Team are aware of patients with medical illnesses and current treatment orders.
