The Opportunity:

Join Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) as a CRNA and make a direct impact on the Interior Alaska community. This rare three-week-on, two-week-off schedule gives you 20 weeks each year to explore Alaska’s outdoors, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, and northern lights viewing. Experience a bread-and-butter caseload including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, healthy peds, and GI procedures, with CRNAs managing cases with physician oversight. While high‑acuity cases are less frequent, the work is dynamic and engaging, keeping your skills sharp as part of a rural health system, without the constant intensity of a trauma‑heavy environment. Shifts are 12 hours, but many days end earlier, offering even more flexibility and ensuring a balanced schedule with predictable downtime.

  • Compensation : Salary DOE between $315K-$378K | $40K sign-on bonus | $15K annual retention after sign on period | $5K performance incentive | $5K CME allowance
  • Patients: 4-5 ORs daily with one additional out-of-OR assignment (OB or GI Procedures). No craniotomies or hearts.
  • Team: 5 full‑time Anesthesiologists and ultimately 12 CRNAs.
  • Schedule: 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. Our schedule follows a "work hard, play hard" approach, with condensed work blocks and 20 weeks off.

POSITION PURPOSE :

The position of Head Coach is responsible for assuring that all assistants (contracted or volunteer), as well as him/herself, know the rules of the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA), KINGCO Conference and the Bellevue School District policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Has responsibility and leadership for overall supervision of his/her program at all levels
  • Organizes his/her program so that it is consistent with the district and high school philosophy, goals and objectives.
  • Has the main responsibility for striving to build good sportsmanship and developing good public relations in the school and community.
  • Follows all rules, policies and procedures of the League, District, and school.
  • Prepares public information releases regarding his/her particular sport.
  • Comply with WIAA coaching clock hour program.
  • Keeps abreast of new knowledge, ideas and techniques relating to his or her sport.
  • Assists the Athletic Director in the coordination of scheduling events for the sport (usually non‑league contests and tournaments).
  • Is responsible for drafting and submitting a budget for his/her sport and following rules and procedures for incurring and tracking expenditures and revenues.
  • Is responsible for practice sessions for his/her sport within the confines of the time(s) agreed upon by the head coach and Athletic Director.
  • This time will include the supervision of the locker room.
  • Is responsible for keeping records for and from the Athletic Director and/or principal.
  • Is responsible for attending all meetings (district and league) pertaining to his/her sport.
  • Is responsible for the general health and welfare and safety of athletes.
  • Is aware of all safety procedures necessary for their specific sport and relays these procedures to the assistant coaches, athletes and parents.
  • Administers a student interest survey/evaluation at the conclusion of the season and gives the surveys and the results of the survey to the Athletic Director.
  • Writes an annual report at the end of the season that evaluates his/her program and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Is responsible for conducting and filing an Assistant Coach’s Evaluation.
  • Is in charge of assignments and duties of the assistant coaches (volunteer and contracted) working with his/her sport.
  • Is responsible for assuring that all rules, procedures and policies are followed.
  • Is responsible for the general upkeep, protection, distribution, collection and inventory of all equipment.
  • Is responsible for the appropriate use of school facilities and property.
  • The Head Coach or designee must organize, direct, and supervise practice sessions and dressing room facilities any time they are being used by his/her team members.
  • The Head Coach must ride the bus to/from all events and follow rules governing in and out‑of‑state travel.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to and is directly supervised by the Athletic Director.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Hold a current first aid and CPR card, proof of valid first aid and CPR cards must be provided prior to job offer.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS (positions in this class typically require):

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This role will collaborate closely with academic leadership including the Chief Academic Officer, Deans, other members of the faculty team, student support services, members of adjunct faculty, and instructional design to support instructional quality, student engagement, and continuous improvement across programs within the assigned domain(s).

This role also carries faculty rank as an Associate Professor at Cleary University, combining academic leadership responsibilities with active teaching and student engagement. The successful candidate will contribute to instruction, curriculum development, assessment, and academic governance while serving as a leader within their assigned academic domain(s). What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the academic lead and subject matter expert for one or more of the following domains based on experience and qualifications.
    • Finance
    • Digital Marketing
    • Supply Chain Management

    • Data Management & Analytics
    • Artificial Intelligence
    • Cybersecurity
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses within qualified disciplines and levels using applied, student-centered teaching methodologies, in multiple modalities (in person, hybrid, asynchronous).
  • Support and mentor adjunct faculty through onboarding, coaching, professional development, instructional guidance, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Contribute to the implementation of AI initiatives across the university and support the discipline-specific integration of AI within assigned academic areas.
  • Partner with university leadership, staff, and faculty on AI and emerging technology applications across the university.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership on curriculum development, assessment, accreditation readiness, and program review initiatives.
  • Promote experiential and workforce-aligned learning practices that emphasize practical application of the domain and The Cleary Mind™ professional attributes.
  • Assist in ensuring instructional consistency, academic quality, and positive student learning experiences across modalities and student populations.
  • Participate in institutional committees, strategic initiatives, and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to student recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives.
  • Pursue available funding for initiatives of the Center for Emerging Technology.

What We’re Looking For

  • Earned master’s degree from an institutionally accredited college or university in a relevant discipline. Doctorate or active doctoral enrollment preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience within one or more applicable domain areas.
  • Knowledge of the current application of AI in one or more of the domain areas listed in this job description.
  • Experience with emerging technologies, including AI, and their impact on teaching and learning and industry use within the individual’s domain areas.
  • Teaching experience in higher education, training, or professional development environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or support teams in academic or professional environments.
  • Familiarity with instructional technologies and learning management systems in multiple delivery modalities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student success and workforce-ready education.
  • Experience with curriculum development, assessment, or accreditation processes.

Location and Schedule

This position is based on-site at Cleary University’s campus in Howell, Michigan. Regular on-site presence is required. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required according to your course schedule, which varies each semester, and for occasional campus and community events. This is a year-round faculty position with teaching requirements throughout the entire year.
