Primary Purpose:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Engineer provides technical leadership in the planning, design, and execution of projects involving Exelon's utility infrastructure including electric or gas distribution, transmission, substations, and related systems. This role involves mentoring junior engineers, leading complex engineering studies, and ensuring strategic alignment with safety, reliability, and compliance goals. Work can include: Leading advanced electric, gas, and/or communications system performance analysis and outage investigations  Developing and implementing engineering strategies for grid modernization  Managing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for major projects  Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement  Conducting field inspections and resolving high-impact technical challenges May be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies

Primary Duties: PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Leads and performs assignments in specialized areas requiring extensive engineering expertise, requiring maintaining state-of-the-art engineering credential in the specialized technical area (25%)
  • Leads and performs engineering tasks and projects associated with a critical or analytical engineering project or a small number of complex projects that require specialized knowledge in many areas, may include field testing, troubleshooting, and peer review (25%)
  • Evaluates complex technical issues that require highly specialized knowledge in very specific areas and recommends actions or programs for their resolution, which may necessitate the review/evaluation of engineering design documents: (20%)
  • Evaluates, develops, implements, and leads projects that have significant financial and operational impact, may also develop initial commissioning plans. Plans, writes, and performs tasks for documentation deliverables and projects: (10%)

Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Purpose:
The General Engineer - T&S Engineering Programs works on execution of reliability engineering programs by partnering directly with Engineers to translate approved engineering strategies into actionable scopes and coordinated field execution. Applies advanced technical and engineering principles to resolve execution challenges, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure reliability improvements are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Develops studies, plans, criteria, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, performance assessments, integrated systems analysis, cost estimates, budgets, associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Exelon's electric generation, transmission, distribution, gas and telecommunication facilities/systems. Provides consultation and recommendations to the Company within and to other business units and/or customers as a result of studying company or customer-owned systems, processes, equipment, vehicles or facilities. Reviews financial data from budget and actual costs of projects. Operates independently and seeks guidance when appropriate. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Primary Duties:
  • Performs engineering tasks associated with critical engineering projects or a number of small projects with many complex features. 
  • Performs assignments in areas where engineering precedents are incomplete, lacking or require broad experience.

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems.

Primary Duties:
  • Within the limits of the required certifications, performs or arranges all tests, maintenance, repairs and replacement of all associated equipment that relates to HVAC, electrical systems, emergency power systems, plumbing, fire alarms and sprinkler systems.

Your new role As our new Managing Consultant in Air and Climate, you will be part of Ramboll's Environment & Health Division. This group includes professionals passionate about air quality and environmental compliance, supporting clients in addressing complex regulatory and technical challenges. The team provides services across a range of areas, including air permitting, emissions estimation, regulatory compliance, control technology assessments, air dispersion modeling, and preparation of air quality and compliance reports.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Serving as the technical lead, overseeing consultant-level staff on complex air quality projects
  • Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations, with a focus on air compliance
  • Maintaining client relationships and managing deliverables to meet client needs efficiently and to the highest quality
  • Preparing air quality permit applications and environmental reports across a range of complexity levels and for a range of industry types
  • Estimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or a related physical science with strong quantitative coursework. PE certification a plus
  • 9+ years of air quality consulting experience, including air permitting, compliance, and/or air dispersion modeling
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including proposal development, managing scope, schedule, budgets, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Experience with client relationship management, and business development efforts
  • Strong understanding of air pollution control technologies and air dispersion modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD)
  • Experience interpreting and applying federal and state air regulations, including Clean Air Act programs (e.g., NSR/PSD, Title V, NSPS and NESHAP); multi-state experience desirable
  • Demonstrated experience preparing air permit applications, including NSR/PSD and Title V, encompassing emissions calculations, regulatory applicability analysis, application preparation, and agency coordination through permit issuance
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients, regulators, and stakeholders, including presentations and regulatory interactions
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with programming (e.g., Python, R), databases
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff in technical and consulting skills

Salary Transparency Statement At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,500 - $150,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Responsibilities:

  • Perform a day to day review and processing of requisitions as assigned.
  • Perform data order entry into AIT's and International Paper's systems to obtain quotes, issue purchase orders, and maintain the blanket purchase orders for the relevant business.

  • Continually identify duplicate stock codes or product.
  • Maintain lead times for those items on the look ahead.
  • Work with service centers to collect information on weekly backlog and past due reports.
  • Work with service centers and International Paper to expedite orders.
  • Provide product sourcing assistance and continually pursue products within our scope of supply.
  • Address specific problems as they relate to International Paper.
  • Work directly with warehouse personnel and service centers to resolve receiving issues
  • Resolve, monitor, and track all product warranty issues with the service center.
  • Track cost savings achieved by Applied and documented value add to International Paper.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, traits, and skills as they join our team and help move us to the next level.

  • Equivalent to bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing related fields
  • 3 to 5 years' industry related work experience.
  • Preferred experience working in or with a Paper Mill
  • Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
  • Relationship-building skills at all levels with customers and prospect organizations
  • Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects; mechanical aptitude
