Job Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory in their dispensary. They drive sales through maintaining an up to date and stocked online and in-store menu. They ensure all AYR policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Retail Inventory Manager and the Dispensary Store Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate counts of all inventories by doing daily counts and performing reconciliations when necessary
  • Ensure that all product is properly tagged according to state and local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork
  • Reconcile inventory to ensure that all information is accurately porting to the state system and no malfunctions are occurring
  • Keep a clean and well-organized shop/Storage area that allows for unencumbered access to product, sinks, cleaning areas, and workstations
  • Maintain all delivery records and invoices according to the methods prescribed by the General Manager and state regulations
  • Ensure that all items meet the required quality standards and specifications
  • Generate purchase orders or transfers to fulfill sale order requirements
  • Run and maintain inventory level reports
  • Take pride in the appearance of the store by ensuring all areas, including restrooms, are consistently clean, safe, and guest-ready

Working conditions

Work is performed in several locations that include a cannabis cultivation and production facility. The working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures. Involves frequent contact with staff. Responsibilities

Participants of this program will join the AmeriPro EMS Team as a full-time EMT Student and receive compensation while enrolled in our EMT Certification Program. Additionally, participants will receive this training at no cost to them as AmeriPro EMS will waive all course and testing fees for each participant. Upon successful completion of the EMT Training Program, participants will utilize skills learned in this program to care for our community as they transition to the field as a full-time Emergency Medical Technician.

This is a 8-10-week program, which requires a two-year commitment as a full-time EMT with us following certification.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.

  • Clear and successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

About the Opportunity


Hydraulic Controls, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Agent to support our Systems Division in Stockton.


This is a purchasing- and inventory-focused operations role supporting our engineering, fabrication, and production teams. The position helps ensure that the correct parts and materials are ordered, received accurately, properly recorded, and available when needed.

This may be a strong fit for someone who is organized, mechanically curious, comfortable working across office and shop environments, and known for accuracy and follow-through.


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare purchase orders and verify product specifications, pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
  • Review supplier acknowledgments and follow up on pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help ensure materials are available to support engineering, fabrication, and production needs.
  • Receive and inspect incoming products, process inventory transactions, and follow FIFO procedures.
  • Research and correct discrepancies involving inventory quantities, receipts, shipments, work orders, or system records.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve delivery, quantity, quality, pricing, and documentation issues.
  • Prepare work orders and pull parts for fabrication and production.
  • Support Engineering with product information and quotes.
  • Provide basic assistance with customer questions, quotes, and sales transactions as needed.


What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory control, receiving, manufacturing, industrial distribution, or a related operational environment.
  • Strong computer, data-entry, and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to learn and accurately use an ERP or inventory management system; TrulinX experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and follow-through.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers, customers, and coworkers.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude or an interest in learning about hydraulic, electronic, and power-transmission products.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems or industrial products is helpful but not required.
