Our 24/7, 36-bed Emergency Department team blends advanced clinical expertise with compassionate, patient-focused care. This specialized unit provides a calmer environment with specially trained staff and access to a gerontologist, ensuring coordinated, patient-centered care across the continuum.

How you'll contribute

The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Emergency Services. You will be accountable for designing and implementing innovative programs, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care across the continuum. As the Director, you will collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to elevate clinical performance and patient experience.

Serve as the accountable leader for all aspects of Emergency Services.

Drive continuous improvement in outcomes, cost of care, and patient satisfaction.

Partner with quality leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance toward becoming a highly reliable organization.

Collaborate with other service line leaders, facility leadership, and system executives to provide consistent, patient-centered care.

Support provider and staff recruitment, retention, and engagement.

Demonstrate values through inspirational leadership and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.

Collaboration: Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination, patient experience, and service delivery.

Oversees ongoing staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure).

A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services

Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships team

Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in acute care settings.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

Salary Range

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $200,000 plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.

What You'll Do

Delivering World-Class Bike Service:

Advanced Tune-Ups:

  • Perform detailed tune-ups, covering everything from drivetrain cleaning and lubrication to gear adjustments and suspension overhauls.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address any issues that may affect performance or safety.

Repairs and Custom Builds:

  • Handle advanced repairs, from suspension service to internal hub maintenance, and ensure all work meets our quality standards.
  • Build and customize bikes from the ground up, with a focus on e-bikes and complex systems.
  • Take the time to educate customers on bike safety and proper usage.

Operations and Training:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all shop processes and protocols.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional bike shop experience with a diverse range of bicycles.
  • Proven proficiency in repairing new and vintage bicycles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort using computer systems; experience with Lightspeed Cloud POS is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs regularly.
  • Self-motivation, team spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
