【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ - $ annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

In This Job, You Will

  • Operate and maintain existing GitLab CI/CD infrastructure including patching and permissions. Advise on updates to jobs, runners, variables, and approvals to improve stability and throughput.
  • Administer Nexus artifact repositories including patching, backups, access management, repository configuration, cleanup/retention policies, and routine health checks.

Basic Qualifications

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver software product and technology due diligence assessments on target organizations for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. In this role, directors conduct software product and technology assessments focused on the following key areas: product features / functionality and product roadmaps; technology and architecture; intellectual property and open source; R&D organization and processes, including the software development lifecycle; R&D OpEx and CapEx expenditures; and hosting infrastructure.

Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to take the reins of our talented Code Advanced Payroll development teams. This role offers the unique opportunity to oversee the continued excellence of our foundational payroll application with cross-platform integrations on a highly scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure while simultaneously building and scaling new applications powered by AI. Responsibilities

  • Participates in the interview and hiring process. Prepares and administers annual reviews and development plans, makes promotion and salary recommendations. Responsible for personnel planning and the allocation of team members to meet Enterprise Development project needs. Identifies and mentors future leaders / managers for company growth.
  • Provides support and assistance to several agile development teams and their scrum masters. Has strong working knowledge of agile development principles. Helps to remove roadblocks that agile teams are unable to solve by themselves.
  • Provides input to product owners on the product strategy and vision. Gives feedback to the product owners on the content and prioritization of the product backlog.
  • Builds relationships with other IT departments and business units and mitigates conflict to facilitate inter-department communication and agile team progress in order to meet business objectives. Acts as a catalyst for change to improve applications or processes which benefit IT and/or the business unit.
  • Demonstrates application knowledge and understands functionality of applications outside their area of expertise to identify potential impacts and make recommendations to minimize the impacts. Responds to questions from other IT departments and business units and coordinates resolution of critical issues to provide support for production applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer related discipline - Preferred
  • 7 years of experience in Related field.
  • 4 years of experience in supervisory, management, project leadership, or project management.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $117,345 - $184,400 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
