We are seeking experienced Burn Table Operators for steel plate burning. The Operator must comply with all safety guidelines and have an eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude. This position will mainly be responsible for operating CNC burning machines to complete customer orders. In addition, the Operator will be responsible for performing skilled work in the burn department by setting, operating and maintaining machinery. This is an entry level position. Candidates with minimum experience can be trained.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling steel plates
  • Plasma or oxygen and gas to cut steel to customer specifications, utilizing CNC controlled machines
  • Reads, interprets and clearly understands work order specifications and sets up machines to produce material that meets quality and customer expectations
  • Sets up machines to optimize production efficiency and material yield without sacrificing quality
  • Flame cutting procedure oxygen and gas operation from 1 3/8" to 10" thick material
  • CNC controlled plasma machine operation material from 1/8" to 1 1/4" thick material
  • Inspect material grade using color coding system
  • Take direction and guidance from Plant Supervisors and follow cutting practices and machine operation
  • Ensure cut quality and tolerances using a tape measure
  • Operate basic measuring equipment (tape measure or calipers)
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
  • Safe operation of material handling equipment (forklift & overhead crane)
  • Record and perform all Pre and Post shift preventative maintenance procedures
  • Maintain and keep cutting surface in good order
  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned

Key Essential Functions:

  • Assists in the on-boarding process for all new hires.
  • Coordinate's completion of all steps the pre-employment process to include background checks, reference checks, employment verifications and collection of required documents (diplomas, degrees, IDs, certifications, licensures, etc.)
  • Completes New Hire Checklist in its entirety for all new hires to ensure compliance and legally sound hiring practices.

Requirements:

Job Summary

Maintains product levels and quality control in produce and floral departments. Ensures fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed in accordance with Company standards and all regulatory food safety practices. Promotes customer service and sales building practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains full stock conditions on produce and floral display racks, tables, and shelves.
  • Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
  • Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
  • Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
  • Collects empty cardboard boxes and other trash and places into bailer.
  • Assists fellow partners and customers by responding to price check questions and exchanging and/or locating product.
  • Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.
  • Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
