Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Takes orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.

A La Carte Cook

Columbia Country Club was founded in 1898, it is a private member owned club which is situated in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Club's 1,600 family members enjoy golf, indoor and outdoor tennis, fitness and aquatic facilities, bowling, and paddle tennis courts.

The A La Carte Cook works under the supervision of the Chef de Cuisine, with additional oversight from the Sous Chef and Executive Chef. This position is responsible for the setup and preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner hot line items, ensuring high-quality food is delivered in a timely and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complies with the club's policies and procedures as established in the employee handbook.
• Completes all opening and closing side work as assigned and / or scheduled for a given shift.
• Prepare any elements needed for service, such as salad dressing, sauces, sandwiches or spreads. As well as follow the restaurant recipes when preparing these menu items.
• Wash, peel, dice and chop foods according to Chef's requirements.
• Assist in the plating of dishes coming from the kitchen to be served for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Helps in reusing product and items to avoid waste.
• Responsible for the set-up and breakdown of their station, as well as making sure items are returned to where they came from.
• Prepares all specials and is creative in the presentation of plates under the direction of the Chef de Cuisine.
• Operates kitchen utensils and/or equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, slicing, assembling and kneading of food products.
• Have high quality standards for production and service.
• Must be able to work productively with little supervision.
• Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment.
• The A La Carte Cook must work in conjunction with the other scheduled cooks to ensure members and their guests' food is prepared and ready to be served in an orderly fashion.
• Must pay close attention to detail and work well in pressure situations.
• Consistently follows all sanitation-related requirements, including those related to personal hygiene.
• Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions to their direct supervisor.
• Possesses a professional behavior and appearance at all times.
• Held responsible for working all major club events to include Mother's Day, Easter, Club Fireworks Event, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by the Chef de Cuisine, Sous or Executive Chef.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have good communication skills including understanding and speaking English
• Must be detail oriented, organized and efficient.
• Must have basic knowledge of production and kitchen operations to include the proper use and cleaning of relevant kitchen equipment, supplies and machinery.
• The individual in this position will be required to fulfill the physical demands of the position. Will need to often be standing on their feet for the duration of the shift, sometimes lasting up to eight hours.
• 2+ years' experience required. County Club familiarity preferred but not required. There is an expectation for you to develop your knowledge of overall Food & Beverage Operations as an employee of CCC.

Audience Services Representative

Facilitate a positive audience experience and promote the Minnesota Orchestra by upholding the Audience Services Department standards of service: advocacy, efficiency and courtesy; by keeping up-to-date on Orchestra Hall products, services, policies, and procedures; by demonstrating proficiency on computerized ticketing system; by assuming fiscal responsibility for daily transactions; by assisting with the training and mentoring of other ticketing staff; and by assisting the Audience Services Management Team with department related projects.

Essential Functions:

Ticket Sales and Customer Service

• Maintain and utilize complete and current information concerning Orchestra Hall products, services, policies, facilities and procedures in sales and service transactions.
• Communicate these items to customers and employees accurately and fairly by phone, in person or in written format
• Understand event seating plan accurately communicate that information to customers
• Keep apprised of concert information and current discounts/promotions
• Understand and be comfortable with offering the customer other sales opportunities that will complement the current purchase/transaction

Understand and demonstrate proficiency in computerized ticketing system.

Demonstrate the ability to work in all assigned locations and positions/shifts.

Assume fiscal responsibility for daily sales transactions.

Uphold the Audience Services Department standards of service- advocacy, efficiency and courtesy.

• Treat patrons as individuals with warmth and respect, while providing friendly, courteous and responsible service in an efficient manner.
• Ensure that both internal and external customers feel that they are the primary purpose of the Association's business and that the Audience Services Department exists to satisfy customers.

Technology/Equipment:

• Proficiency in typing and computer software/hardware usage
• Tessitura or other ticketing system experience preferred
• Knowledge of M365 and MS Office suite preferred

For Remote Capable Work:

• At least six months experience as a successful Minnesota Orchestra Ticket Services employee
• Approval by manager team via the Remote Work Suitability Assessment required

Work Environment and Physical and Mental Demands:

While working on site at Orchestra Hall or the administrative offices, work is performed in an open office environment with moderate noise levels in a cubical desk configuration and in a performing art building on stage, in a lobby or other location within the facility, and occasionally in an outdoor environment for outdoor concerts, or other activities.

While performing the duties of this position, incumbents may be required to do all or some of the following, with or without accommodation:

The Minnesota Orchestra offers remote work options for this position according to their work requirements and individual needs. As a remote-capable specialist, the representative must demonstrate effective and frequent communication with managers, supervisors and peers; be proactive in seeking out department tasks and projects; and work in a private environment free from distraction and disturbances, to ensure the safety of customer and organization information.

Availability:

Workdays and hours for this position will fluctuate based on the schedule of concerts or events and work deliverables. Schedules will be created in collaboration with the employee approximately 2-4 weeks in advance. Employees must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week. Maximum scheduled hours will not exceed 32 hours. Worked hours will not average more than 30 hours per week over a calendar year. Overtime is not allowed unless approved in advance for special circumstances.

Shifts will typically occur within the following times on any day of the week including holidays:

• Daytime: 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Evening: 5:00PM-10:00PM

Structured Credit Analyst

Guggenheim Investments is seeking a Structured Credit Analyst. The Structured Credit Analyst is responsible for maintaining market coverage, conducting security and portfolio-level analysis, and sourcing and reviewing investments. This position is collaborative and may be cross-functional across one or more of ABS, CLO, RMBS, and CMBS in response to market conditions, with the employee responsible for intermediating, aggregating, and disseminating market information to credit sector teams, portfolio managers, and senior investment professionals. The employee will report to a senior Structured Credit Analyst/Sector Lead. The employee will work in the firm's Santa Monica, California office.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of specialized and complex investments utilizing all available sources of information including governing documents, published research, financial reports, news, rating agency reports, and market information
• Generate credit views, trade ideas and research summaries. Conduct total return, OAS, and scenario analysis using standard analytical tools. Emphasis on in-depth collateral and structural analysis.
• Present trade ideas and credit views to sector team members and portfolio managers. Maintain and originate client presentation materials related to key market development and investment views
• Maintain and develop cashflow and financial models for specialized and complex investments. Oversee and QC cashflow / financial models for less-complex, on-the-run investments. Develop and maintain internal catalogues of deal comps, credit views, and credit statistics to support monitoring, surveillance, and relative risk and value analysis. Research developments related to specialized and more complex investments
• Participate in meetings with dealers and industry experts for industry background and deal research.
• Direct and QC monthly/quarterly surveillance process.
• Ensure completeness of investment analysis and documentation in conformance with firm standards
• Conduct reviews of prospective portfolio acquisitions
• Conduct and oversee ad hoc analysis to support PM, management, client, and desk-directed inquiries

Qualifications

• Vice President (7-10 years) experience in credit research, analysis, trading, or structuring
• Advanced degree (MFE, MBA) or equivalent educational background are desirable. CFA or progress toward CFA is required

• Strong credit, finance, economic, business, and technical skills
• Advanced Excel skills are required. SQL, Python skills are desirable

Part-Time Merchandising Work

Greetings is looking for a part-time retail merchandiser to service the greeting card department in a local store. The duties include straightening product on all card racks, putting out product orders, submitting new orders on our website, putting up and taking down holiday cards using plan-o-grams, and processing card returns after the holiday. You would also need to be available after holidays to make the change out the new holiday. Our merchandisers are independent contractors. Service visits are flexible and ongoing. We have available part-time, on-going work servicing a wide-variety of clients/retailers for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. We offer competitive pay and training.
