Job Mission

The Director, Data Products is responsible for building and leading New Balance’s enterprise data product capabilities – ensuring that every digital product is underpinned by accurate, well‑governed, and business‑ready data. Reporting to the VP, Data & AI, this leader owns the strategy, team, and operating model that delivers data as a managed product with clear ownership, measurable quality, and defined consumers.

Major Accountabilities

  • Define and Drive the Data Products Strategy & Operating Model
  • Establish the vision, principles and operating model for managing data as a product across New Balance.
  • Define the portfolio of enterprise data products and ensure each has clear ownership, quality standards, service level expectations, and engaged consumers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with consumers, digital product teams, and engineering to continuously evolve and embed the operating model.
  • Lead Data Product Owners for Enterprise Data Domains
  • Develop and maintain a clear data product vision and corresponding OKRs that align desired outcome across stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with business owners and Digital Product Managers to understand priorities and uncover opportunities to build capabilities that increase adoption and deliver value.
  • Build, prioritize, communicate, and champion data product roadmaps across Business Transformation, Engineering, and business stakeholder groups.
  • Build a High Performing Team of Data Leads Supporting our Digital Products
  • Manage the team of Data Leads supporting each Digital Product to embed data quality standards in products based on the framework established by the Enterprise Data Governance team.
  • Build and embed the operating model for Data Leads to work with Digital Product Teams, Engineering, Data Product teams, Enterprise Data Governance, and Business Transformation programs.
  • Champion data standards in agile quarterly planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Enterprise Data Governance, Platform, and Architecture teams to operationalize monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows for data quality.
  • Champion the use of AI to ensure data quality standards are met for Data & Digital Products.
  • Measure and communicate data quality improvements to business stakeholders and executives to build trust in data.

Requirements for Success

  • Strategic leadership: Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise strategy into an executable roadmap, define success measures, and drive sustained outcomes in a complex, cross‑functional environment.
  • Retail and/or e‑commerce domain fluency: Experience delivering data capabilities that support consumer journeys and merchandising/commercial processes and partnering with digital product teams.
  • AI enablement mindset: Working knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI concepts, including data readiness, evaluation/measurement, risk controls, human‑in‑the‑loop, monitoring, and translating business problems into data/AI solution approaches.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in dysphagia-related (e.g., thickening systems, texture-modified nutrition) or other medical nutrition product development.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare nutrition regulatory pathways (including FSMP considerations, FDA, EFSA, etc.) and claims substantiation requirements.
  • Strategic and patient-centric mindset with strong clinical orientation.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical and scientific data into actionable product strategies.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-driven with high accountability and operational discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills with both scientific and commercial audiences and ability to effectively work, influence, problem solve and communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record in people leadership (developing, coaching, mentoring, directing) with demonstrative team-building and collaboration skills.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to mesh business needs with technical competencies.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to change with proven ability to accelerate the performance of R&D teams.
  • Ability to develop both long-range plans that address key business and technical needs and short-term operational projects that support customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS Degree required in Food Science, Nutrition Science or related field.
  • Advanced degree Preferred in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Clinical Nutrition, or related field.
  • 12+ years of R&D experience in healthcare nutrition, clinical nutrition, or specialized dietary products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of dysphagia management and IDDSI framework.
  • Expertise in formulation challenges related to viscosity, stability, and sensory performance.
  • Ability to lead clinical research and product commercialization in regulated environments.
  • Experience designing and interpreting clinical and real-world evidence studies.

JOB SUMMARY

The General manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, day-to-day staff management and guests. He / She should be an ambassador for the brand and hotel. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of DHM service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.

Your passion for service is contagious and you are a natural coach that loves to build effective teams and inspires individuals to do their best.
  • Enable innovation and drive results. You execute successful sales and marketing campaigns, understand dynamic revenue management, and can drive profit to the bottom line through strong financial controls.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

The Hotel may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below, when applicable.

  • Previous General Manager experience is essential.
  • F&B experience is required.
  • Strong and successful Owner Relations partnerships.
  • Ability to create and develop a dynamic team.
  • Local market, preferred.
