Main Ingredients of the Job
As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you will be critical to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. As a Delivery Driver, you will have an impact on our customers by delivering our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to their drop-off sites. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
- Deliver best-in-class Customer Service.
- Deliver customers’ orders to meet scheduled delivery times and keep productivity.
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area.
- Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
- Make frequent stops during a work shift.
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
- Verify delivery of items with customers.
What you bring to the table
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
- No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical.

BASIC PURPOSETo provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment.
Tool allowance included to support your trade.
Our Diesel Mechanics start at $28.00/hour DOE
401K with 2% automatic company contribution plus company match up to an additional 6%.

Employee uniforms provided.
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday, 3:30pm - 12:00 AM, with overtime available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certificates.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
SUPERVISION:

RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: All Fleet Technicians, Drivers, Coordinators and Manager
External: Vendor service providers when required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Onsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility.
Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
Able to read and write legibly (e.g., to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, and enter information on reports if needed); basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, divide).

High school diploma or equivalent required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certificates.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

External: Vendor service providers when required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Onsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility.
Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
Able to read and write legibly (e.g., to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, and enter information on reports if needed); basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, divide).

Main Ingredients of the Job
As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you will be critical to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. As a Delivery Driver, you will have an impact on our customers by delivering our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to their drop-off sites. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
- Deliver best-in-class Customer Service.
- Deliver customers’ orders to meet scheduled delivery times and keep productivity.
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area.
- Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
- Make frequent stops during a work shift.
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
- Verify delivery of items with customers.
What you bring to the table
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
- No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical.

BASIC PURPOSE of Pallet Repacker: Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization
- Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
- Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
- Properly record all dumped product.
- Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GEDBasic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to work independently.
- Safely operate electric pallet jack.
- Good communication skills – written and oral.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.
- Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Must be dependable.
Physical Requirements:

Your New Role
Report daily to the company warehouse in the Harahan/Elmwood area before heading to job sites
Diagnose, service, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems throughout New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, and Mandeville, Louisiana
