Merchandising Sales Associate

Pay Range: $14.67 - $16.9 hourly

Overall Job Summary: This position is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. This position will interact with customers and team members, while providing legendary customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%): As a FAST Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill the following requirements:

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts dictated by business needs.
  • Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor and Store Operations on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
  • Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards.
  • Perform project related measurements.
  • Complete store layout initiatives.
  • Complete store price changes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Install, update, and maintain store signage including, but not limited to, Circulars, Price Cuts and Managers' Specials.
  • Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
  • Perform recovery and review planogram integrity.

  • Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers and adhere to Company safety training and guidelines.

Team Members also may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, FAST Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
  • Must be self-directed and have the ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate.
  • Work shifts vary from one store to another, but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 10 hours.
  • Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be near or around birds/poultry.
  • Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
  • Ability to move and transfer merchandise, weighing up to 50 pounds, throughout the store.
  • Ability to move throughout the store for an entire shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead.
  • Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with the assistance of proper material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jack).
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required training.
  • Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers

Patient Care

1. Completes an initial, comprehensive and ongoing comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es).

2. Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of nursing process.

3. Assesses and evaluates patient’s status by:

A. Writing and initiating plan of care

B. Regularly re-evaluating patient and family/caregiver needs

C. Participating in revising the plan of care as necessary

4. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.

5. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis.

6. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process.

7. Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician’s plan of care.

8. Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

9. Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan.

10. Assists the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patient’s efforts toward self-sufficiency and optional comfort care.

11. Acts as Case Manager when assigned by Clinical Supervisor and assumes responsibility to coordinate patient care for assigned caseload.

Communication

1. Completes, maintains and submits accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient’s condition and care given. Records pain/symptom management changes/outcomes as appropriate.

2. Communicates with the physician regarding the patient’s needs and reports changes in the patient’s condition; obtains/receives physicians’ orders as required.

3. Communicates with community health related persons to coordinate the care plan.

4. As a mandatory reporter, reports failure to comply with the requirements of the Dept. of Health as required within 14 calendar days, using Dept. of Health forms.

5. Reports suspected abandonment, abuse, financial exploitation, or neglect of a person in violation of the department of social and health services and the proper law enforcement agency. Reports must be submitted immediately when the reporting person has reasonable cause to believe that abandonment, abuse, financial exploitation, or neglect of a vulnerable adult has occurred.

6. Teaches the patient and family/caregiver self-care techniques as appropriate. Provides medication, diet and other instructions as ordered by the physician and recognizes and utilizes opportunities for health counseling with patients and families/caregivers. Works in concert with the interdisciplinary group.

7. Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient.

8. Assists the patient and family/caregiver and other team members in providing continuity of care.

9. Works in cooperation with the family/caregiver and hospice interdisciplinary group to meet the emotional needs of the patient and family/caregiver.

10. Attends interdisciplinary group meetings.

Additional Duties

1. Participates in on-call duties as defined by the on-call policy.

2. Ensures that arrangements for equipment and other necessary items and services are available.

3. Supervises ancillary personnel and delegates responsibilities when required.

4. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development and maintains and upgrades professional knowledge and practice skills through attendance and participation in continuing education and inservice classes.

5. Fulfills the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments.

6. Actively participates in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

2. Registered Nurse, with a License in good standing to practice.

3. Registered nurses shall have a minimum of (a) one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years; OR have a baccalaureate degree in nursing and minimum of two (2) years’ experience, at least one of which is in the area of public health, home care, or hospice nursing is preferred.

ABOMs are expected to operate at near-BOM level, executing bakery operations with urgency, accuracy and accountability while building the leadership skills needed to run a bakery independently.

The role blends hands‑on operational excellence with talent development, administrative ownership and team leadership. ABOMs act as a true extension of the BOM and must be capable of stepping into full bakery ownership when needed. Our brand new Scottsdale, AZ store is located at 4417 E Saddlebag Trail, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution
  • Execute all core bakery operations including inventory rotation, scheduling support, staffing coordination and administrative checklists.
  • Maintain strict adherence to product quality, cleanliness, food safety and guest experience standards.
  • Support ordering, inventory accuracy and shrink control.
  • Assist in schedule creation and labor execution to meet operational targets.
Talent & Team Development
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Deliver consistent coaching and real-time performance feedback.
  • Hold team members accountable to standards while reinforcing a growth mindset culture.
  • Ensure onboarding and training programs are executed to company standards.
Leadership & Ownership
  • Manage bakery operations independently in the absence of the BOM.
  • Model urgency, accountability and operational discipline.
  • Partner with BOM and Area leadership to identify operational gaps and implement solutions.
  • Maintain continuity of operations during leadership transitions or staffing shortages.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

  • Perform daily functions in batch preparation of formulations and intermediate solutions, complete all documentation following the preparation of the batches throughout the process.
  • Assist with any additional projects assigned by Cross functional teams.
  • Performs polymer formulation, characterization and process in a research laboratory environment.
  • Demonstrates understanding in both, materials technology and lens production process, to insure compatibility between material and process. Identifies and optimizes novel materials for their use in lens, saline, and lens care product formulations.
  • Demonstrates understanding of structure and property relationship in polymers, specifically the relationship between molecular architecture and morphology and bulk properties.
  • Identifies and executes appropriate testing methodologies to evaluate potential new contact lenses, lens surfaces, package saline and lens care products
  • Documents experimental results details on all planned and completed experiments including raw mate-rials, experimental plans and procedures, results, data analyses and conclusions in appropriate formats (laboratory notebook, memo and/or report) and communicate effectively to project teams.
  • Files all new material concepts through invention disclosures and support patent filings as required to protect intellectual property.
  • Handles, uses, stores and disposes all lab used chemicals as outlined in MSDS, SOP and other company prescribed, state and federal guidelines.
  • Also, complies with all company established Health, Safety and Environment operational requirements.
  • Uses relevant statistical techniques and methods to plan and execute experiments and to analyze experimental data.
  • Actively monitors patent and scientific literature for significant technical developments relevant to CL and CLC products.

  • Previous Work experience on chemistry/material science industries such as adhesives, coatings, UV curatives and/or regulated medical devices are desired.
  • Formulation and process experience with hydrogel and contact lens care are a plus.
  • Must be able to write reports and communicate well to internal customers.
