About the Role

Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnosis not matter what their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado, Kansas, and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.

RIA is looking to provide preceptorship for 2 Registered Radiologist Assistant students. The current RPA/RRA team covers more than 20 clinical sites and performs more than 40 different clinical exams including: All fluoroscopy exams in diagnostic radiology, outpatient and inpatient barium and water soluble studies of the GI tract, contrast visualization of the urinary tract, joint injections/aspirations, tube placements, lumbar punctures, and hysterosalpingograms.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to move between multiple clinical sites
  • 3-5 years of hospital based diagnostic radiology experience as a registered technologist with ARRT
  • Colorado resident
  • Current BLS
  • Acceptance to ARRT approved Registered Radiologist Assistant Master's program

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Journeyman status, equivalent training, or certification in an engineering discipline
  • Ability to efficiently work with maintenance planning software packages such as eMaint, MP2, or Maximo

    • Perform routine housekeeping in work area(s) as necessary.

    What you'll bring, and qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred but not required.

    • High school level reading and writing skills

    • Mechanical aptitude, above average dexterity

    • Blueprint reading helpful

    • Previous Press Operator experience (preferred)
    • Basic math — percentages, decimals (thousandths), addition, subtraction

    • Knowledge of press, dies, and set up operations preferred

    • Strong Oral and written communication skills

    • Be experienced in production environment in meeting schedules and rates and be able to change over dies in the standard time.
