True North Advisors, LLC
dallas, tx
Compensation: 180.000 - 280.000

Senior Director of Business Development

Senior Management Dallas, TX, US

True North is a $5B+ RIA with a clear mission: deliver exceptional value to families and institutions through disciplined planning, thoughtful investment management, and an aligned team. Our organic growth strategy is defined, resourced, and working—and we’re looking for the right leader to scale it.

It is a mission-oriented role for a leader who can execute with excellence, coach with humility, and lead a high-performing team toward our clearly defined goal: 20% annual organic AUM growth.

We are looking for a grit-driven, inspiring leader who brings energy, accountability, and strong interpersonal presence to elevate a high-performing business development team. This role is ideal for someone who motivates others to deliver results and leads as a true player-coach with confidence, humility, and purpose.

This is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility leadership role at a firm with a proven growth engine, clear strategic direction, and meaningful momentum. You will report directly to the CEO, lead a team that is central to the firm’s organic growth strategy, and help shape how True North continues to grow while integrating the strengths of firms joining through mergers and acquisitions. For the right leader, this is a chance to make a measurable impact, elevate a capable team, and help drive the next chapter of growth at a firm with both scale and purpose.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage the Business Development team of four professionals through regular meetings, clear status updates, and consistent accountability for performance, priorities, and follow-through.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop the team to improve individual and collective performance through strong leadership, interpersonal effectiveness, industry knowledge, and coaching techniques that drive results.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes , including disciplined Salesforce documentation and consistent execution of business development workflows.
  • Own the sales pipeline from top of funnel to close—including lead generation oversight, prospect conversion, and final close accountability.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships created through mergers and acquisitions by understanding the unique strengths of each organization joining True North and applying those insights to continue evolving business development processes and ensuring alignment with True North standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, investment, and advisory teams to deliver a seamless client acquisition experience.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 3–6 months, success in this role means establishing strong leadership credibility with the Business Development team, creating consistency in operating rhythm and reporting, focus on Salesforce discipline and pipeline visibility, and elevating coaching, accountability, and performance across the team. Longer term, success means measurable contribution to the firm’s 20% gross organic AUM growth goal and continued evolution of a scalable, repeatable growth engine.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a role that manages advisors or the Wealth Management team. This is a BD-focused leadership role, not an advisory oversight role.
  • Not a strategic re-write. The playbook works. Your job is to run it and refine it—not reinvent it.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required
  • 10+ years of demonstrated sales leadership experience, including at least 5 years within the wealth management industry. (RIA, wirehouse, asset management, or platform-level BD.)
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Deep familiarity with high-net-worth or institutional sales, with bonus points for alternatives platform knowledge
  • Fluency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and pipeline management
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, especially in cross-functional environments
  • Competitive base salary and bonus
  • 20 days of Paid Time Off for new employees; increases to 23 days after the second year and increases from there per a schedule
  • 401(k) with employer contribution
  • Free Financial Planning services for employees and their spouses
  • Fun and energetic work environment!

Background

True North is an Independent RIA that serves the wealth management needs of high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. True North Advisors was founded on the shared vision that the only way to truly provide clients with trustworthy advice is through complete independence, objectivity, and the absence of conflicts of interest.

We seek to provide peace of mind to our clients and their families. Managing an individual’s wealth is more than just dollars and cents. At True North, our Wealth Managers work collaboratively with our Wealth Planning team using every lens to create comprehensive plans designed to achieve clients’ long-term goals. We offer innovative solutions and provide perspective, opportunity, and fulfillment in every area of our clients’ lives. We were an early adopter in recommending private investments, including public and private platform opportunities in real estate, private equity, and energy.

Established in 2000, our mission has been to help our clients lead more fulfilled lives through trust, personalization, and simplicity. Go North today and join us to help us continue to fulfill lives.

POSITION SUMMARY

TAM Residential manages a portfolio of affordable and Essential Living communities across ten states. We are building the operating infrastructure of this company from the ground up, and training is one of the pillars that everything else depends on. This role builds that foundation. It is not inheriting a program and maintaining it. The Vice President of Training and Development will architect and stand up TAM's entire training foundation and platform: the curriculum, the learning technology, the certification model, the content library, and the delivery infrastructure that every employee in the company will run on. That spans onboarding, role-based certification, systems proficiency, affordable housing compliance, leadership development, and resident experience and brand standards, for every position from Leasing Professional through Vice President of Operations. We are looking for an architect and an innovator. TAM's ambition is to be the premier brand of affordable housing, and that standard is set through how we develop people. The right person is fluent in artificial intelligence and modern learning technology and will use both to build something scalable in an industry that still largely trains by shadowing. This is a design and build role. Regional delivery in the field is carried out by the Operations Training Managers on this team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Build the Foundation and the Platform

  • Architect TAM's training foundation from a blank page: the curriculum framework, the competency model by role, the certification standards, and the content library that supports all of it.
  • Select, build, and own the learning platform and the technology stack behind it, including how training connects to our operating systems and to the data we use to measure it.
  • Design the training organization itself, including structure, staffing model, operating cadence, budget, and a multi-year roadmap.
  • Lead and develop the training team, including the Director of Training and the Operations Training Managers who deliver in the field, and build the case for additional capacity as the portfolio grows.
  • Establish training as a partner to Operations rather than a service desk, with clear ownership, standards, and service levels.

Onboarding and Certification

  • Rebuild onboarding so that managers are the subject matter expert and first line of defense for their own teams, supported by the training function rather than replaced by it.
  • Create a role-based certification model in which every employee at Property Manager level and above is signed off as able to perform the job, with sign-off escalated up two levels.
  • Build a new hire experience that reduces early turnover and gets people productive faster in an industry where turnover is the single largest driver of performance volatility.

Systems and Technical Proficiency

  • Own proficiency in Entrata, our core operating platform, along with the CRM and the broader technology stack. System errors in lease processing, charge setup, compliance, and renewals trace directly to training gaps, and closing them is a primary objective of this role.
  • Partner with Systems and Products to build training into system rollouts and configuration changes rather than after them.
  • Deliver affordable housing compliance training covering LIHTC, HUD, bond, fair housing, and file documentation standards, in partnership with Compliance.

Technology and Innovation

  • Take Grace Hill Pathways from a compliance checkbox to a real learning platform, and evaluate whether it remains the right foundation.
  • Bring modern learning methods to a traditional industry: microlearning, mobile-first delivery, scenario and simulation-based practice, in-system guidance, and video built for people who work on their feet, not at a desk.
  • Use artificial intelligence as a core building tool, not an experiment. Build content and assessments faster with it, personalize learning paths, and give site teams answers in the moment. TAM is actively deploying AI across the company and this function should be among its most sophisticated users.
  • Instrument the program with data. Completion rates are not the measure. Build reporting that connects training to operating outcomes.

Resident Experience And Brand Standards

  • Define and embed TAM's resident experience standards into training, onboarding, certification, and leadership development so that the resident experience is consistent across every community.
  • Translate TAM's brand promise, service expectations, communication standards, and resident-facing behaviors into practical, role-based learning for Leasing Professionals, Community Managers, Regional Property Managers, and Operations leaders.
  • Partner with Operations, Marketing, and leadership to establish clear service standards and behavioral expectations at every resident touchpoint, from first contact and leasing through maintenance, communication, renewals, and move-out.
  • Build scenario-based training and assessments that prepare teams to handle resident interactions, difficult conversations, service recovery, and escalation while protecting the TAM brand.
  • Measure training's impact on resident experience through relevant operating and resident-facing metrics, using results to identify gaps, reinforce standards, and continuously improve the resident journey.

Leadership Development and Culture

  • Build a leadership development track for Community Managers, Regional Property Managers, and Vice Presidents of Operations, focused on the skills most often missing: prioritization, people management, documentation, and leading to an outcome.
  • Create the career ladder that lets strong people see a path and stay, supporting the company goal of growing talent internally rather than constantly rehiring.
  • Embed TAM's values and service standards into how every employee is onboarded and developed.

Measurement and Accountability

  • Define the metrics that prove training is working, including turnover and retention, time to productivity, systems and CRM compliance, compliance file quality, and audit outcomes.
  • Report on those metrics to the leadership team on a regular cadence and adjust the program based on what the data shows.
  • Partner with the Vice Presidents of Operations and their Regional Property Managers so that training reinforces the Roles and Responsibilities standards rather than competing with them.

SKILLS + ABILITIES

  • Proven builder. Has stood up a training function or materially rebuilt one, not just administered an existing program.
  • Hands‑on with artificial intelligence. Uses AI tools in daily work today and can show how they have made a team faster or a program better. This is a requirement, not a preference.
  • Technology forward. Fluent in learning platforms and able to evaluate, select, and implement new technology rather than wait for it to be handed over.
  • Data literate. Able to define metrics, build reporting, and hold a program accountable to outcomes.
  • Credible with operators. Understands what site teams actually face and earns trust with people who have seen training initiatives come and go.
  • Strong influencer. Able to work across Operations, Compliance, Systems, Marketing, and Human Resources without direct authority.
  • Practical and fast. Comfortable launching something good, learning from it, and improving it rather than waiting for perfect.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex requirements simple for a field audience.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, instructional design, organizational development, education, or equivalent experience.
  • Eight or more years in training, learning and development, or organizational development, including at least three in a leadership role.
  • Multifamily property management experience strongly preferred. Affordable housing experience, including LIHTC, is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience with learning management systems, and with implementing learning technology at scale across a distributed workforce.
  • Practical, demonstrable experience applying artificial intelligence to content creation, learning design, or workforce enablement.
  • Experience training on enterprise property management software, ideally Entrata, is preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct leadership of the training team, including the Director of Training and the Operations Training Managers who provide regional field coverage, with the expectation that the team grows as the function matures.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimal. This is a corporate design and build role. Regional field delivery is carried out by the Operations Training Managers. Occasional travel for leadership meetings, company events, or a targeted initiative, generally less than 10 percent.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise.
  • Ability to work from multiple locations.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required.

The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required. TAM Residential reserves the right to assign or reassign duties as needed to meet business needs.

BENEFITS

  • Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days of employment. Benefits offered include medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as 401K and life insurance. Regular, full‑time associates are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.

TAM Residential is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

Senior Staff Product Manager, Workforce Planning
Intuit
mountain view, ca
Compensation: 206.000 - 278.000

Overview

Description

Intuit is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our People Data & Analytics team. Our team partners closely with Intuit's HR leaders, COEs, HR and Finance business partners to deliver the data, reporting, and technology that shape our people strategies and elevate decision‑making across the company. As a Product Manager for Workforce Planning, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for the data definitions, data models, reporting layer, governance intelligence, analytics and technology that supports the planning process. Today this work runs across multiple workstreams spanning data, analytics, modeling, data governance, and analytics products. You will bring them together under a single roadmap and a shared set of data standards, so that workforce planning is supported by durable systems rather than manual effort . The role links workforce strategy to the tools and data that put it into practice. You will own the product and technology layer that workforce planning runs on, in close partnership with the teams that own workforce planning strategy and cycle design.

Responsibilities

Key Focus Areas

Product Strategy

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the workforce planning data, analytics and technology ecosystem, including the headcount and requisition data model, planning and forecasting inputs, organizational effectiveness measures, and the insights and analytics that inform leadership decision forums.
  • Identify and prioritize the unsolved problems of the leaders, HR partners, planners, and Finance teams we build for, using first‑hand interviews, experimentation, behavioral signals, and adoption data to deepen understanding of what they actually need rather than what they ask for.
  • Set business outcome objectives that tie to the roadmap, grounded in a deep understanding of how Intuit plans, organizes, and funds its workforce.
  • Build the business cases that guide leadership decisions on the ecosystem's evolution, including build versus buy, and benchmark how Intuit's workforce planning data, analytics, and technology compare to what leading companies have built.
  • Influence adjacent roadmaps across People & Places and Finance so planning works end to end for the leaders and partners who use it, rather than fragmenting tool by tool.

Product Execution

  • Define roadmaps and goals with dependencies across data products, data science, and analytics, and lead the cross‑functional team to deliver a high‑quality end‑to‑end experience.
  • Translate the needs of HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Biz Ops and business leaders into functional and technical requirements, sequencing decisions, and delivery plans, and hold accountability for what ships and when.
  • Own backlog prioritization, manage dependencies, and drive delivery in an agile fashion: go broad to go narrow, build, test, iterate.
  • Drive improvements across data, analytics, tools, and systems that span multiple domains of the planning ecosystem, consolidating parallel efforts rather than adding to them.
  • Define and analyze the success measures for the ecosystem, reporting on adoption, data quality, and decision impact, retiring what is not used and investing where it is.

Technology and AI Fluency

  • Translate business requirements to facilitate technical decisions and trade‑offs, with an AI‑first mindset.
  • Partner with the broader ecosystem to consolidate parallel workstreams into a coherent ecosystem with shared definitions, common data standards, and a single source of truth for planning and headcount measures.
  • Set and maintain the data standards behind workforce planning measures, and partner across functions to reconcile competing definitions rather than maintaining parallel versions of the truth.
  • Scope and prioritize AI‑enabled capabilities across the ecosystem, including conversational access to workforce data and agentic workflows, with a clear approach to data boundaries, access model, evaluation, and measurement at each stage of phased testing and rollout.
  • Bring governance intelligence into the solutions, so that planning and requisition decisions can be evaluated against the plan at the point of decision, with clear paths for what clears automatically and what routes to a human.
  • Analyze data with depth to identify the trends and patterns that should shape product decisions, using established access and trust models for sensitive workforce data in partnership with HR, Legal, Privacy, and Security.

Decision‑Making and Influence

  • Set a clear vision and accelerate multiple teams through prototypes and working artifacts rather than documents alone.
  • Drive complex strategic decisions across multiple teams based on data, user input, and business needs.
  • Build alignment across HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Places, and the business on the measures the company plans against, and resolve the places where the same number is counted differently.
  • Influence through storytelling and negotiation, actively seeking feedback to build shared understanding of ideas, requirements, and impact across HRBPs, Business, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Places, and technology partners.
  • Drive change management, stakeholder alignment, and adoption for new capabilities.
  • Proactively identify when priorities, requirements, or new learnings call for a change in plan, and lead the adaptation rather than absorbing the drift.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years working across People Analytics and/or Workforce Planning, with hands‑on ownership of the data, models, and technology those functions run on.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager owning a roadmap, backlog, and delivery for data, analytics, or planning products, or equivalent experience leading end‑to‑end delivery.
  • Direct experience with workforce planning models, processes and forecasting, including headcount, attrition, and hiring models, scenario modeling, and translating a financial envelope into headcount.
  • Experience implementing workforce planning or HR technology end to end, from selection or build through integration, rollout, and adoption. Working knowledge of Workday, Avature, or comparable systems.
  • Deep familiarity with workforce data models and definitions, and a track record of consolidating fragmented reports, models, and tools into a governed ecosystem where HR, Finance, and the business plan against the same numbers
  • Experience scoping AI‑native or agentic experiences, with a clear point of view on governance, evaluation, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ownership of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and access and trust models for sensitive workforce data, developed in partnership with HR, Legal, Privacy, and Security.
  • A consultative approach with senior stakeholders: advising on how planning data, analytics, and tooling should work, driving alignment where definitions conflict, surfacing trade‑offs early, and communicating clearly with both leadership and delivery teams.
  • Technical depth and curiosity: comfortable in SQL, able to reason about data models and pipelines, and a credible participant in architecture discussions. This is not a requirements‑gathering‑only role.

Staff Product Manager, Training Infrastructure - Weights & Biases
Weights & Biases
bellevue, wa
Compensation: 190.000 - 230.000

CoreWeave, the AI Hyperscaler™, acquired Weights & Biases to create the most powerful end-to-end platform to develop, deploy, and iterate AI faster. Since 2017, CoreWeave has operated a growing footprint of data centers covering every region of the US and across Europe, and was ranked as one of the TIME100 most influential companies of 2024. By bringing together CoreWeave’s industry-leading cloud infrastructure with the best-in-class tools AI practitioners know and love from Weights & Biases, we’re setting a new standard for how AI is built, trained, and scaled.

The integration of our teams and technologies is accelerating our shared mission: to empower developers with the tools and infrastructure they need to push the boundaries of what AI can do. From experiment tracking and model optimization to high-performance training clusters, agent building, and inference at scale, we’re combining forces to serve the full AI lifecycle — all in one seamless platform.

Weights & Biases has long been trusted by over 1,500 organizations — including AstraZeneca, Canva, Cohere, OpenAI, Meta, Snowflake, Square,Toyota, and Wayve — to build better models, AI agents and applications. Now, as part of CoreWeave, that impact is amplified across a broader ecosystem of AI innovators, researchers, and enterprises.

As we unite under one vision, we’re looking for bold thinkers and agile builders who are excited to shape the future of AI alongside us. If you're passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of software, hardware, and AI, there's never been a more exciting time to join our team.

About The Role

Training a frontier model is as much an infrastructure problem as it is a modeling problem. When a run fails at hour 47 of a 72-hour job, the question is almost never 'what's wrong with the code' — it's 'what happened on the cluster.' Node failures, network timeouts, storage bottlenecks, and scheduling decisions determine whether training runs succeed or fail, how much they cost, and how fast teams can iterate. Until now, the developer tools and the infrastructure telemetry have lived in completely separate worlds.

The CoreWeave acquisition changes that. W&B can now build products that connect application-level experiment tracking with cluster health, hardware telemetry, and compute orchestration — a surface area that's hard to assemble without owning both the developer tools and the infrastructure.

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this Staff Product Manager will own the strategy and execution for the products at this intersection: W&B Launch (job submission and compute orchestration), infrastructure insights that leverage CoreWeave's unique telemetry and platform capabilities, and new product concepts — including agentic and automated research workflows — that only exist because W&B and CoreWeave are now one company. Sandboxes (managed development environments) are also part of this surface, but the core opportunity is building infrastructure-native developer tools that take advantage of the combined platform.

You’ll be working directly with frontier model builders — teams training on thousands of GPUs — to understand what they need and ship it.

If you're energized by solving infrastructure challenges that directly accelerate deep learning workflows, collaborating with the world’s best AI teams, and delivering tools that move the industry frontier forward, his role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Define and ship infrastructure-native products that only W&B + CoreWeave can build. This is the core of the role. The integration between W&B's experiment tracking and CoreWeave's infrastructure platform opens a new product surface — giving researchers visibility and control that spans their code, their runs, and the machines those runs execute on. You'll identify the highest-value opportunities in this design space, build conviction around them, and drive the roadmap from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Own W&B Launch and evolve it for the CoreWeave era. Launch is W&B's job submission and compute orchestration product. Today it helps teams submit training jobs to Kubernetes clusters and cloud providers. As part of a vertically integrated AI platform, Launch can go further — with deeper infrastructure awareness and the ability to serve as the orchestration layer for agentic and automated research workflows. You'll set the vision for what that looks like and ship it.
  • Spend real time with frontier AI teams and learn how they actually work. Foundation model builders are your primary customers. You'll spend significant time in their workflows — understanding how they manage infrastructure, debug failures, orchestrate computation, and increasingly automate their research processes. These conversations will directly shape the product roadmap.
  • Build the bridge between W&B product and CoreWeave platform engineering. This role sits at the seam between two organizations that are becoming one. You'll partner with CoreWeave's infrastructure and platform teams to identify integration opportunities, and with W&B's engineering teams to build them into products researchers actually want to use. Your ability to translate between infrastructure engineers and ML researchers will be critical.
  • Find and resolve friction points in the job submission, compute management, and infrastructure observability workflows, maintaining W&B's high bar for craft and quality.
  • Explore new product concepts at the hardware-software boundary. The design space opened by the CoreWeave integration is large — spanning profiling, environments, automation, agents, and more. You'll evaluate which new concepts have the highest impact for frontier AI teams and drive the most promising ones from zero to one.

Who You Are

  • Experience: You have 7+ years as a product manager working on developer tools, deep learning infrastructure, or ML engineer platforms.
  • End-to-end ownership: You've taken a technical product—whether a model, orchestration feature, or developer tool—all the way to production, including defining success criteria, measuring effectiveness, and iterating to improve impact and user happiness.
  • Technical fluency: You’re comfortable discussing Kubernetes and SLURM, job scheduling, hyperparameter optimization algorithms, and API design with engineers and AI researchers.
  • Cross-functional influence: You’re skilled at managing and influencing AI engineers, software engineers, and stakeholders—with or without official authority—to align teams and drive outcomes.
  • Clear communication: A major part of this role is seeking feedback from many directions and channeling it into a single, executable stream. You bring clarity and organization to complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Care and taste: You have strong opinions about the products you use and a high bar for developer experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX), distributed training, or LLM development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SLURM or Kubernetes for GPU-intensive workloads.
  • Prior exposure to W&B or other experiment-tracking and model management platforms.
  • Understanding of hyperparameter optimization methods and evaluation workflows for large models.
