We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative individual to lead and support the existing capabilities of an agile software program in the Phantom Works organization.

  • Architect Cloud Solutions:
    • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based architectures (Amazon Web Services or Azure) that align with business objectives and enhance operational capabilities.
    • Lead the migration from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
  • DevOps Strategy Development:
    • Lead the development of a comprehensive DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions to streamline software delivery and improve deployment frequency.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Optimization and Waste Reduction:
    • Utilize industrial engineering principles to analyze existing systems and processes, identifying areas for optimization and waste reduction to improve overall efficiency.
    • Define, collect, analyze, and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for software delivery and team execution to ensure continuous improvement and accountability
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Leads the creation of best practices
    • Lead the effort to develop and document best practices and methodologies for software development, deployment, and operations to ensure consistency and quality across the organization
    • Leads efforts to continuously drive solutions to answer the question “How do we operationally field higher quality end-to-end system software more frequently?”
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, present architectural designs, and provide updates on project progress.
  • Research and Development:
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps, and apply this knowledge to enhance our solutions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)
  • 15+ years of total experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and DevOps practices
  • 10 years of experience leading software team and/or projects
  • 10 years of experience in automated provisioning and configuring of software-defined infrastructure and designing for continuous deployment and continuous operations
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins) and practices, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in industrial engineering or process optimization is highly desirable
  • Experience with AWS or Azure GovCloud

Position Overview

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring high-speed connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments, and contributing to the technical strategy and execution of the Department's initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Work experience can be substituted for education on a yearly basis (in addition to experience requirements).
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience in a Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience with cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with migration and system optimizations.
  • Proven expertise in network planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software), and optimization.
  • Experience with cloud networking principles and technologies, including hybrid cloud connectivity and network virtualization.
  • Experience migrating on-premises systems to Azure, including virtual machines, file shares, and applications.
  • Experience with Azure networking, including ExpressRoute and Virtual Networks (VNETs). Strong understanding of network architecture, traffic routing, and firewalls.
  • Experience with cloud storage solutions and long-term archival strategies.
  • Familiarity with data validation, integrity checks, and permissions audits during migrations.
  • Knowledge of security measures like encryption, MFA, conditional access policies, and access controls.
  • Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans, including RPO and RTO objectives.
  • Familiarity with backup solutions and their integration with Azure environments.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, setting up alerts, and ensuring resource optimization.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in the design and implementation of our on-premise Compute as a Service (CaaS) and GPU as a Service (GPUaaS) offerings. You will be instrumental in building a robust and scalable infrastructure platform, enabling our engineering teams to efficiently deploy and manage applications. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and development of a cloud-integrated marketplace for seamless application deployment onto our on-premise bare metal Kubernetes clusters. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

CaaS & GPUaaS Implementation:

  • Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of a scalable and efficient CaaS and GPUaaS platform on our on-premise bare metal clusters.
  • Implement and integrate key technologies for our stack, including hypervisors (e.g., KVM), container runtimes (Docker, containerd), orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), and GPU virtualization technologies (Kubevirt, vGPU).
  • Develop and implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for the CaaS and GPUaaS platform.
  • Optimize performance and resource utilization of the bare metal infrastructure.

Marketplace Development:

  • Contribute to the design and development of a cloud-integrated marketplace for deploying applications onto the on-premise infrastructure.
  • Implement backend services and API integrations for the marketplace.
  • Develop secure and efficient application deployment workflows.
  • Integrate the marketplace with existing cloud services and infrastructure.

Job Title: Onshore Service Delivery Manager

Experience Required: 15+ years in IT Service Delivery, with people and portfolio management experience

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Onshore Service Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of IT services to global clients. This role requires strong people leadership skills combined with the ability to manage a portfolio of client engagements or service lines. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing offshore resources, and driving customer satisfaction while contributing to strategic growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery Management

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of services in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary offshore point of contact for service escalations, performance reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with onshore and offshore stakeholders to align on priorities, risks, and resolutions.
  • Lead incident and problem management processes, including RCA and long-term resolution strategies.

People Management

  • Manage and mentor offshore delivery teams, including team leads and individual contributors.
  • Oversee resource allocation, workload balancing, performance management, and training plans.
  • Build a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Oversee a portfolio of service engagements or client accounts supported from offshore.
  • Track portfolio-level metrics including profitability, resource utilization, and delivery performance.
  • Drive customer satisfaction, renewal rates, and identify opportunities for upselling or service expansion.
  • Collaborate with business development and account management teams to support growth initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field; PMP and/or ITIL certification preferred.

15+ years of experience in IT service delivery or operations, with at least 5 years managing teams.

  • Demonstrated experience managing delivery across multiple accounts, projects, or service lines.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Financial acumen to manage service budgets, forecasts, and profitability analysis.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure), enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow), or ITSM platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery models.
  • Prior experience with contract governance, change control, and managed services delivery.

Responsibilities

  • DevSecOps' expertise in building and supporting security solutions for Windows, Linux, above mentioned platforms, including services such as Enterprise Vulnerability Management, data protection, privacy and compliance, network protection.
  • Building and deploying security solutions using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GIT Hub.
  • Experience in low code environments such as Appian and Microsoft Power Platforms is mandatory.
  • Experience with Alteryx ETL and Workflow Designer platform is plus.
  • Experience with Identity and Access, Endpoint, Vulnerability management and other cybersecurity automation workflows.

  • Communicating with various audiences, including business leaders, engineers, clients, and team members, with excellent ability to convey information that is relevant to the audience.
  • Written communication for excellent documentation and reporting.
  • Outstanding teamwork across multidiscipline plan-build-run teams.
  • Applying your understanding and expertise with systems automation platforms and technologies.
  • Automating security controls, data, and processes to provide metrics and operational support.
  • Employing cloud-based APIs when suitable to integrate and orchestrate across various systems in the automation workflow.
  • Developing and delivering solutions using Agile methodology.
