What Qualifications You'll Need 

  • Must be a graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current. 
  • ARRT registered. 
  • One year experience in acute care strongly preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist will coordinate services and activities specific to the Imaging area. Monitors all technical clerical functions, which include efficient patient throughput and effective utilization of equipment and human resources, based upon patient load. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing radiographs by applying x-ray energy according to the standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology and the Texas Medical Board to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Ensures that patient safety, health and welfare come first by optimizing imaging examinations to use only the radiation necessary to produce diagnostic-quality images. Applies knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span to identify patient and family requirements relative to age-specific needs. Exercises professional judgment in performances of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
Participates in providing patient specific care standards as directed, and follows service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic and portable radiographs
  • Select and operate radiography equipment, imaging and/or associated accessories to successfully perform procedures.
  • Select appropriate protocols to obtain desired results.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Document, on the images or in writing, information seen during exam.
  • Relay to physicians any relevant patient information.
  • Follow all hospital guidelines regarding radiation protection and applies principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others.
  • Provide optimum patient care during exams.
  • Operate all computer systems (Meditech, RAD module, OE, PCI, PACS, etc.) that relate to the individual’s job assignment and department operations.

What qualifications you will need:

Education

  • Associate Degree

License and Certifications

Position Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor Maintenance is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance functions, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

  • Seek to ensure reliability of plant and equipment operation while optimizing maintenance and operation costs and satisfying all safety, environmental etc. regulations in the process.
  • Identify and solve safety concerns encountered during design and study of manufacturing processes
  • Devise hands on improvement processes to reduce scrap and defects while improving throughput and document SOPs and the implementation of Best Practices into the facility. Assist in coordinating the installation of new equipment to maximize production efficiency and maintainability.
  • Work with production to make modifications to equipment and work areas for maximum efficiency of operation.
  • Maintain a knowledge base in the capacity of existing utilities and the current level of utilization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest safety, environmental and other regulations which affect the facility to ensure compliance.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance of the equipment and the facility to ensure the company receives maximum utilization of its assets.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with the systems designed by the manager, focusing on execution and direct oversight.
  • Assist in keeping written documentation of environmental compliance current.
  • Periodically prepare reports to satisfy environmental and safety regulations and ensure a safe and professional work environment.
  • Reviews, evaluates, counsels, disciplines and discharges employees as necessary to ensure department meets or exceeds productivity requirements.
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to product manufacturability.
  • Ensure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify root causes of any non-compliance.
  • Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
  • Oversee effective deployment of human resources throughout the plant and ensure the correct administration of the collective Bargaining Agreement (if applicable).

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing facility

Position Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership for the engineering and maintenance functions and ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all OSHA regulations. Additionally, this position manages the staff to keep function within budget and properly staffed and trained. 

Shift: 1st shift, 5:30am - 3:30pm (hours may vary based on production needs, schedule would alternate weekends)

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Maintains daily work log documenting the salient equipment/process incidents requiring follow-up actions.
  • Participates in, and supports, the department safety training program. (I.E.: weekly safety meetings, shop safety inspections, enforcement of lock-out/tag-out program, Arc Flash/Shock Hazard Program, enforcement of the confined space program, etc.).
  • Conducts accident investigation of all injuries requiring medical attention (or as requested by Plant management).
  • Assesses the skills and abilities of assigned personnel and develops training opportunities to close the skills gap.

Development of the Weekly Work Schedule

  • Receives approved schedules together with relevant work orders and other planning documents from the planner/scheduler. Discusses work schedule as necessary to understand special instructions or considerations to be observed in the execution of the jobs and reviews new jobs coming up in the future.
  • Coordinates work process improvement actions to streamline the accomplishment of the work schedule.
  • Supervises the quality of workmanship of assigned work crew by auditing work during and after work completion.
  • Adjusts weekly work schedule each day to ensure adequate work coverage based upon the work order priority and craft availability.
  • Reviews the actual labor expended versus estimated labor and material used for completed jobs, in order to determine corrective measures needed to improve the accuracy of estimating and improving methods of doing work.
  • Assists planner in examination of jobs to be done and determination of scope and best way to accomplish the work.
  • Obtains blueprints, drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources. Makes any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., necessary to clarify the intent of the work order.
  • Knowledgeable of and able to utilize the computerized maintenance management system to accomplish department goals.
  • Thoroughly understands and supports the work management process. Enforces department adherence to proper work request/order procedures.
  • Ensures the safety needs are given a top priority in work execution.

Work Process

  • Notes equipment/process performance improvement opportunities, opens work requests to document improvement suggestions, and facilitates equipment improvement opportunities by working with the Planning & Scheduling to effect necessary planning and work scheduling.
  • Acts as the principle contact between Production Supervision and the Maintenance Department.
  • Ensures the production areas receive prompt, efficient and quality service from the maintenance function and ensures the maintenance function is given the opportunity to provide this service.
  • Coordinates plant maintenance requirements with the Planner/Scheduler to effect necessary upgrades, modifications and repairs.
  • Keeps the Maintenance Manager properly informed on all abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside of the supervisor’s knowledge or authority.
  • Utilizes data to analyze equipment failure modes, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), etc. and suggests/implements improvement processes to reduce or eliminate equipment/process failures (I.E.: PM inspection improvements, predictive maintenance techniques, maintenance employee training, etc.).

Preventative Maintenance Program

  • Assists the Planner/Scheduler in the development of PM inspections for new/existing equipment.
  • Ensures Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections are completed as written in the work order.
  • Recommends additional PM inspection tasks as a result of equipment failure mode analysis, MTBF, and other statistical means to identify possible equipment failure events.
  • Recommends PM inspection frequencies (days, cans or cases produced, hours, etc.).
  • Works with the Planner/Scheduler to implement production based PM frequency rates (I.E.: bottle counts, case counts, hours of operations, etc.) to reduce over-inspecting equipment and wasting maintenance labor.

Total Productive Manufacturing

  • Participates in and champions the TPM Professional Maintenance process.
  • Maintains the PM Pillar Board current and is prepared to brief Pillar Board contents anytime.
  • Drives relentless reduction of breakdown losses through Breakdown Analysis and other appropriate Focused Improvement Tools.
  • Supports the Autonomous Maintenance process by providing training and support, as appropriate.
  • Leads the development of Asset Maintenance Plans for all assigned plant critical assets.
  • Supports the Maintenance Prevention effort in support of the Early Equipment Management Pillar.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent experience) plus four (4) years experience in a high speed manufacturing environment with a mechanical/electrical background required.
  • Strong leadership capabilities in a fast-paced production environment required.
  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent is highly desired.
  • Previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred.

Position-Specific Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, & Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required.
  • An understanding of SQF, responsibility for Food Safety /Food Quality and the responsibility to take action when notified or becomes aware of any Food Safety or Food Quality issue.
  • Must be flexible to work alternate shifts if production needs allow.

Position Description

Reporting to the Manager Quality, the Supervisor Quality is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day quality operations including, the implementation and monitoring of quality and sanitation systems to facilitate compliance with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and PPE requirements.
  • Understands and is proficient with Lab Data Collection Program, SAP, Food Safety and Quality Plans, Water Treatment, Batching Process, Internal Sanitation, Microbiology, Environmental Monitoring Programs, and Product Testing Requirements.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees.
  • Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for direct supervision of Quality employees.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of applicable regulations to include AIB, SQF, State, City, Federal, Kosher, Gluten Free and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance with third-party food safety and quality certification requirements, including the implementation and continual improvement of the facility’s food safety and quality management systems.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the SQF System and ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety and quality requirements.
  • Track departmental KPI’s to effectively manage daily requirements to budgetary deliverables.
  • Understands the details of SAP, specifically the Quality Module and know how to post process orders, access Finished Goods reports, access PM’s for printing and entering completed PM’s, access negative inventory, and know how to perform a mock recall through the system.
  • Must be familiar with the local and corporate QMS Policies and Procedures, and respective SOPs. The supervisor must practically understand how the quality data is achieved and must be proficient with laboratory testing methods, product standards/specifications, and demonstrate technical decision making.
  • Communicate Site Quality Objectives, Policies, and Procedures to employees across all functional departments and maintain accountability.
  • Skilled in using Lab Data Collection Programs to track, analyze, and trend data, enter new products, update specifications, and manage key metrics like product limits, hold product, employee benchmarks, and certificates of analysis.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition to include scheduling preventative maintenance and calibration requirements. Stock and order lab and sanitation supplies and consumables.
  • Assist with the approval/release/rejection all raw materials, finished goods and in-process materials.
  • Understands basic chemistry and have a broad understanding of laboratory equipment, root cause analysis, food safety and food quality metrics/limits. Must be proficient with making in-process batch adjustments.
  • Strong training and personal development skills to drive new productivity goals as defined from time to time.
  • Demonstrates leadership to employees to ensure consistent quality of work.
  • Audits and maintains records necessary for compliance requirements.
  • Responsibility to take action when notified or becomes aware of any Food Safety or Food Quality issue.
  • Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
  • Backup to Quality Manager.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP required.
  • Experience using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., HPLC, densitometer, pH meters, etc) required.
  • Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change.
  • Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends. 
  • High level of precision and accuracy in inspection and testing processes. 
  • Knowledge of GFSI, GMP, FDA and other relevant standards and regulations preferred.
  • Prior inspection experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Written and verbal communication, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required.
  • Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured, with clear production targets and schedules to meet.
