About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Medical Director is the senior clinical leader, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered behavioral medical care in alignment with the organization’s mission and values. The Medical Director provides oversight of community clinical operations, promotes continuous quality improvement, and serves as a key advisor to the executive team on medical and strategic matters. The Medical Director also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service. This is a full‑time role with a 60% administrative and 40% clinical workload.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct psychiatric care at least one day per week.
  • Report to the CEO to ensure standards.
  • Lead and manage the clinical leadership team and all clinical staff: mentoring, coaching, and supervision; ensuring staff engagement to meet organizational and program clinical goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven track record of program development and implementation.
  • Knowledge with CARF accreditation requirements.
  • An understanding of how to ensure compliance with organizational and professional standards and applicable laws and regulations.

General Summary

Emergency physicians provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages arriving to the emergency department. West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division and the Department of Surgery seek a Breast Surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Breast S urgery. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. A successful candidate must have completed a surgical surgery residency program. Fellowship in Breast Surgery required. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in General/Breast Surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.

Job Summary

The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) and the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care seeks a Medical Oncologist, Health Services Researcher to join our team. We seek candidates for this position in sub-specialties such as Central Nervous System, genitourinary or gastrointestinal tumors or sarcomas. The physician will be expected to engage in and build active collaborative research and encouraged to obtain/maintain independent extramural funding.

With an emphasis on outcomes, quality, and cost, health services research is becoming essential to guiding patient care and redefining best practices in academic medicine. The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health offers interdisciplinary, multi-investigator research programs that support a wide variety of outcomes-focused research, including comparative effectiveness research, qualitative research (particularly involving patient-provider interactions), performance and safety in patient care, health care disparities, patterns of care, quality of life, and decision analysis. Clinical research is conducted in the UWCCC by 18 multi-disciplinary Disease Oriented Teams and is supported by the UWCCC Clinical Research Central Office on the main campus. The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology & Palliative Care is part of the Department of Medicine and the NCI-designated UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Division is active in all phases of cancer research, from prevention, screening, cancer therapy, development and evaluation, survivorship and palliative care. Faculty and staff of the Department of Medicine value professionalism, patient-centeredness, compassion, respect, innovation, discovery, inclusion, diversity, teamwork, scholarship and stewardship.

Education

Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Must have completed an accredited fellowship training program in Medical Oncology.

Experience in clinical and/or health services research, with a track record of successful publications in peer reviewed journals, strong written and verbal communication skills, evidence of excellence in teaching and current or high potential to obtain extramural funding. Through these efforts, the ability to enhance national recognition for our division and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.

For appointment at Associate Professor on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS Track.

The Division Director will also work with pharmacy leaders across the system to achieve standards of care goals for all Johns Hopkins Medicine oncology patients.

The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is comprised of 209 pediatric beds, inclusive of intensive care, medicine, surgery, psychiatry, oncology, rehabilitation, and a pediatric emergency department. The Pediatric Pharmacy Division also provides pharmacy services for the Kennedy Krieger Institute, a 47-bed long-term pediatric inpatient care facility. The Department of Pharmacy, consistent with the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine, places a priority on teaching, research and patient care. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, the department is responsible for providing acute care pharmacy services for a diverse population of medical, surgical, oncology, and pediatric patients, with additional services provided within the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and affiliated clinics. Within the department, there are over 70 acute care and ambulatory care clinical pharmacy specialists as well as 34 general and specialized pharmacy residents.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm. D. degree, or equivalent (B.S. plus 1-3 years of experience) required.
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is required.
  • Advance training to obtain skills consistent with a MS, MBA, MPH, or equivalent managerial experience is required.
  • Requires current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
  • Board Certification and/or Fellowship of ASHP is desired.
  • Minimum of two to three years of hospital pharmacy practice.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
