Pay: $58,522-$74,483 annually

The Lumber Contractor Salesperson executes all aspects of our sales call process and strategies, with primary focus on aggressive prospecting of new residential and commercial contractors. They will facilitate and coordinate business activities of accounts and executing PARR Sales initiatives. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with builders and general contractors which supports our vision to be the supplier of choice for all building material products in the Northwest.

Directly reports to Division Sales Manager. Interacts daily with General Managers & employees (in store and outside yard) and customers. Interacts regularly with corporate employees (Central Purchasing Department, Account Management Team, Human Resources Department, and IT Department.) Interacts regularly with vendor representatives and industry associates.

Qualifications

Working Conditions

The working conditions for the Lumber Contractor Sales position are divided between time in an office with a desk and being out interacting with potential and current customers.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a Sales Team towards effective goal and quota attainment - consisting 7-10 individual contributors
  • Monitor, manage and report on KPI's of the business for your team, and for individuals
  • Host weekly 1:1's for team members to do deal reviews and coaching, as well as pipeline and sales process reviews, leveraging sales methodology

Increased proficiency in the following:

  • Fulfillment
    • Pack and ready materials for shipment and distribution.
    • Use client/Loffler designated control systems to ensure accuracy of job and inventory accuracy.

    • Receive, sort & deliver mail to client specifications.
    • Prepare outgoing mail using client site mailing equipment.
    • Be aware of and follow all US postal regulations.
  • Copying/Printing

    • Understand and assist as needed in file editing and consulting in preparation for print.
  • Scanning

  • Reception
    • Answer phones; greet clients and visitor and other duties as assigned.
  • Hospitality
    • Conference and event set up. Clean, stock and prep client meeting areas.
  • Courier
    • Delivery within and outside of client locations.
  • Shipping & Receiving
    • Use shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.) and client systems to receive and ship client items.
  • Legal Services
    • Have a working knowledge of typical Legal Office procedures.
    • Have a working knowledge of Legal Vernacular.
  • Responsible for understanding, staying updated on, and abiding by the Employee Handbook as written.
