The UMCM will utilize clinical knowledge to analyze, assess, and render approval decisions, determine the need for physician review, and complete determinations following physician review. This role is primarily responsible for conducting utilization management reviews for post-acute and extended care services, including Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Acute Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC) admissions and continued stays. The ideal candidate will have prior authorization and utilization management experience in a managed care setting, with experience doing post-acute authorizations, which includes SNF (skilled nursing facility), LTAC (long-term acute care), and IPR (inpatient rehabilitation). Strong clinical judgment, familiarity with post-acute levels of care, and the ability to apply medical necessity criteria to support timely and appropriate coverage decisions are essential for success in this role.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures post-acute services (rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term acute care, home care) are clinically appropriate and aligned with best practices.
  • Guides decisions on admission, continued stay, transfer readiness, or discharge.
  • Serves as a first-level screening, with physician oversight when criteria are not fully met.
  • Accounts for patient severity of illness, comorbidities, and complications.
  • Includes objective endpoints for recovery, plateau, or goal achievement to inform care planning.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, McKesson InterQual, SharePoint, PC based operating system, and web-based phone system.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials

  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Experience

  • Post-acute utilization review experience (SNF, Rehab, LTAC) UM experience highly preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of utilization review experience is highly preferred
  • Experience using Interqual or Milliman is highly preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a payer setting is highly preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred

Summary of Position

This is a part-time customer service role in which the sales associate gives the customer their immediate and complete attention by explaining, demonstrating, and selling woodworking supplies and tools. When not engaged with a customer, the focus should be on the maintenance of the sales floor including facing, dusting and general housekeeping.

Major Areas of Accountability

Required Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).

Fleet Responsibilities
  • Safely transport dry van freight across our national 48-state shipping lanes.

  • Efficiently manage pre-loaded and drop-and-hook customer freight with zero load touch.

  • Perform routine daily pre-trip and post-trip commercial vehicle safety inspections.

  • Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) hours-of-service records in accordance with safety regulations.

Position Summary:

As a leader on the Store Management Team the Assistant Store Manager’s key role is to ensure the highest level of customer engagement is met and sales results are achieved. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the store, including driving sales, providing an exceptional customer experience, recruiting top talent and coaching and developing the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the overall store success by ensuring store sales goals are met while also achieving individual sales goals.
  • Assists Store Manager with day-to-day management of the store, in the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for all daily operations of the store.
  • Responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales by styling and wardrobing each customer based on their needs. Represents the brand and ensures team members are embodying the brand in all interactions with customers and peers.
  • Responsible for building client relationships and driving store sales along with excitement about our brand through client outreach.
  • Communicates effectively with Store Manager regarding individual goals, skill development updates, employee relations and day-to-day operations.  
  • Assists with training, coaching, developing and motivating team to achieve maximum sales productivity.
  • The Assistant Store Manager is an expert on store operations and policies & procedures, and ensures they are followed and enforced.
  • Responsible for assisting with recruiting top talent to meet the needs of the business and retains talent that will contribute to sales growth.
  • Assists with managing payroll and store scheduling within established guidelines to ensure proper coverage based on business needs.
  • Supports and executes directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations and Marketing and ensures that information is properly communicated to the store team and that all deliverables are completed within specified deadlines.
  • Ensures Loss Prevention policies and procedures are followed. Assist with financial/sales audits and inventories to protect the store from internal and external shortage. 

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and at least 2+ years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Career-driven, strong work ethic and high performance standards
  • High level of initiative/self-starter.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
