About the Role

Reports directly to the unit Claims Supervisor and may be called upon to provide technical backup in the absence of the Claims Supervisor. In accordance with applicable statutes and in keeping with company rules, regulations, and established performance objectives, is responsible for effectively managing to conclusion an assigned inventory of claim files that may include cases of extreme complexity or with unique or unusual issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform a three-point contact on all new losses within 24 hours of receipt of the claim to include the claimant, employer, and treating physician to document relevant facts surrounding the incident itself as well as disability and treatment status.
  • Thoroughly and accurately document ongoing case facts and relevant information necessary for establishing compensability, the need for disability payments, the use of vendors, medical and expense payments, and what is being done to move the case toward closure.
  • Assure that all assigned indemnity claims have an up to date plan of action outlining activities and actions anticipated for ultimately resolving the claim.
  • Form a partnership with the medical case manager to maximize early return to work potential thereby reducing the need for extended disability payments, vocational rehabilitation, and other protracted claims costs.
  • Initiate the referral to the SIU of cases with suspected fraud.
  • Aggressively pursue subrogation from culpable third parties, contributions on multiple defendant cases, and apportionment when there is pre-existing disability.
  • Assure that the claim file is handled totally in accordance with applicable statutes as well as in-force service contracts and company guidelines.
  • Review and approve all vocational rehabilitation plans.
  • Establish, monitor, and adjust monetary case reserves when warranted and in strict accordance with assigned authority levels.
  • Review all medical bills for appropriateness prior to referral to InterMed for payment and posting to the claim file.
  • Exhibit and maintain a courteous and helpful attitude and project a professional image on behalf of the company.
  • Respond to telephone messages and inquiries within 24 hours of receipt and to written inquiries within one week of receipt.
  • Requires a working knowledge of the Labor Code of the State of California as it pertains to workers compensation claims and the legal requirements for handling them.
  • Litigation management - Direct, manage, and control the litigation process.
  • Handles other duties and tasks as deemed appropriate by the Supervisor or Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

The Estimator is a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer support at Jensen Infrastructure. You will be working in a dynamic team environment in a modern, clean office.

Reporting to our Sales Manager, you'll work with the sales, engineering, and production team. This position is salaried with a starting salary range of $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 (Based of Experience). Career growth opportunities to project management, outside sales, and much more.

A highlight of your day to day will include:

  • Reviewing bid documents to determine scope of work and required precast concrete products for large construction projects. Ensuring drawings, blueprints, specifications, and any data are accurate prior to cost estimating projects through communication and engineering. Calculating and preparing material and work item quantities (take offs) based on project requirements. Preparing material pricing, labor production analysis, equipment pricing, delivery expenses, timing of product requirement, and other potential cost elements that may impact the estimate.
  • Providing new work potential by remaining alert of business opportunities through contacts, bid rooms, customers, etc. and sharing key information for strategic planning of business opportunities.
  • Providing technical assistance to sales employees regarding the cost analysis of specialized projects with custom products.
  • Coordinating with inventory teams to identify product inventory levels based on historical product sales to adjust production schedules to ensure customer demands are met in a timely manner and to reduce labor cost associated with overtime due to products being out of stock. Coordinating with customers to identify field crew needs, whether job is prevailing wage, on site requirements of Jensen Precast, etc. to ensure proper pricing. Coordinating with production and inventory to determine pour schedule needs and proper scheduling of such requested products and costing for manufacturing.
  • Producing customer quotations and compiles bids using estimating platform.

  • Purpose: Support projects for zoos, theme parks, resorts, museums, and attractions.


What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, exhaust systems, and axles.
  • Complete inspections, tests, certifications, and service records.
  • Communicate repair needs, parts, and downtime.
  • Handle occasional welding and fabrication if needed while maintaining a safe, organized shop.


What You Offer

  • High school diploma or equivalent and hands-on repair experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely; valid DL
  • Two or more years of automotive, diesel, equipment-mechanic training, or comparable experience.
  • Fleet, heavy-equipment, scan-tool, welding, or fabrication experience is helpful.
  • Familiarity with trucks, lifts, hydraulic equipment, and common shop tools.

A combination of education and practical experience will be considered.


Shop Schedule and Physical Demands

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; overtime as needed.
  • Shop and yard work involving standard noise and machinery; standing, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Regular lifting: 70 lbs. floor to waist, 90 lbs. waist to chest, and 25 lbs. overhead.

Position Overview

The Recreational Gymnastics Director leads and oversees all recreational gymnastics programming for kindergarten through teen athletes. This role is responsible for curriculum development, coach development, class quality, enrollment growth, and creating an exceptional experience for families.

We are looking for a high-energy leader who loves kids, understands gymnastics progression, and thrives in building systems, coaching staff, and growing programs.


Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Development

  • Oversee all recreational gymnastics classes (Youth through Advanced)
  • Design and maintain structured curriculum and skill progressions
  • Ensure safe, organized, and high-quality class delivery
  • Evaluate and update program structure as needed
  • Coordinate with the Kindergym, Ninja, and Team Directors on gym-wide goals and programming

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate recreational coaches
  • Lead regular staff meetings and training workshops
  • Create consistent coaching standards and expectations
  • Provide ongoing feedback and professional development
  • Collaborate on staff scheduling
  • Be available to coach classes and lead daytime events as needed

Enrollment & Growth

  • Work with front desk to maintain healthy waitlists and enrollment flow
  • Identify opportunities for new class offerings and program expansion
  • Support marketing initiatives for rec programs, including social media

Customer Experience

  • Build positive relationships with families
  • Address parent questions and concerns professionally
  • Maintain strong communication regarding policies, promotions, and events
  • Ensure athletes are progressing and engaged

Operations & Safety

  • Maintain safety standards and equipment checks
  • Ensure lesson plans and attendance tracking are accurate
  • Assist with facility organization and overall gym presentation
  • Enforce policies and risk management procedures


Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong background in youth sports or child development
  • Minimum 3 years coaching or teaching experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; familiar with Google Docs and Sheets 
  • Passion for working with children

Preferred:

  • Experience managing recreational programs
  • Knowledge of gymnastics progressions and skill tracking
  • Experience with class management software; familiar with Jackrabbit Class
  • First Aid / CPR Certified
