1st Shift Heavy Equipment Operator

American Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the 1st Shift Heavy Equipment role at our Circleville, OH facility.

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for working in a safe, efficient manner to maximize the shipping and receiving of finished goods and materials.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate the mobile equipment (loader, Skid Steer, or yard truck) in a safe and efficient manner while loading trucks with packaged and bulk material
  • Load AWF and customer trailers
  • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork
  • Maintain and verify that all current quality assurance measures are being followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, truck drivers, office personnel, and customers
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new procedures as needed
  • Operate machinery that produces and packages products
  • Operate stretch wrapper by setting palletized bales on machine: starting, stopping, and cutting stretch wrap, then removing wrapped pallet to transfer to storage
  • Attend and participate in a monthly safety meeting
  • Establish personal growth and working relationship with fellow employees to further improvement and teamwork
  • Maintain cleanliness of work station and related areas

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Physical capability to bend, squat, or stoop

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Educate and support Wealth Advisors and their teams in the planning, design and implementation of sophisticated wealth transfer and tax-advantaged life insurance strategies. This will include knowledge of diverse insurance policy structures, trust structures such as Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs), Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts (IDGTs) and funding strategies including gifting and loans, both intra-family and third party.
  • Knowledge of alternative and complementary non-insurance planning will be essential to compare and contrast planning opportunities. Experience with Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, (GRATs), Qualified Personal Residence Trusts (QPRTs), Irrevocable Gift Trusts (IGTs), Family Limited Partnerships (FLPs) and other sophisticated planning techniques allows for a consultative approach to planning.
  • Work directly with Wealth Advisor teams in existing and prospective client relationships to identify planning opportunities.
  • Conduct client presentations regarding wealth transfer and tax-advantaged accumulation strategies including recommending suitable implementation.
  • Drive Wealth Advisors to prioritize identification, presentation and implementation of suitable planning.
  • Liaise between Wealth Advisor Teams and internal Underwriting and Implementation Teams to implement planning including the drafting, review and execution of trusts for trust owned policies. Engage in direct and indirect work with third party estate planning attorneys and institutional trustee services.

Floaters as most afternoon/evening staff are scheduled beyond the daily close of center to children to assist in cleaning and closing the building.

The Angio/Interventional Radiologic Technologist assists in performing minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and non-vascular procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist or other qualified physician. This role involves operating fluoroscopic and angiographic imaging equipment, preparing patients, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities:1. Procedure Support & Imaging:


  • Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, stent placements, embolization, biopsies, and drainage procedures.
  • Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) systems.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.
2. Patient Care & Safety:


  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and positioning them appropriately.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any emergencies during procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
3. Equipment & Inventory Management:


  • Prepare and set up sterile trays, guidewires, catheters, contrast media, and other necessary equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on radiologic equipment.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels of interventional supplies.
4. Documentation & Compliance:


  • Accurately document patient history, procedural details, and post-procedure observations in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Adhere to hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:Education & Certification:


  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) required.
  • ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred or must be obtained within [specific timeframe].
  • State licensure (if required).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
Experience:
