Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient‑specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

About this role:
As a Physician in Gastroenterology you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be an employed Medical Group Gastroenterologist within a large non-for-profit health system. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care and have a team-based GI practice model with physicians, APP support, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. You will benefit from a strong referral base, and we will help support you in building your GI practice.
  • This position includes a starting base salary of $640,000 /annum, $100,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, $1,500 monthly stipend and up to $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable
  • You will practice at Budge Clinic on the Logan Regional Hospital campus in Logan, Utah
  • You will have 32 patient facing hours per week and the opportunity for a (4) day work week
  • Call is 1:4

What you'll bring:
  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • U.S. ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine and Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
  • General gastroenterology and endoscopy care skills, required; ERCP welcomed Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully com plete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
  • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
