Service Technician

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Essential Duties

  • Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Advice service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
  • Document work performed.
  • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that customers' vehicles should not be used for personal errands.
  • Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned. Attend factory-sponsored training classes. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
  • Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean. Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old or older

  • Must be able to pass a background screening
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • ASE certification preferred.

Installation & Vehicle Modification

  • Execute expert installation of mobile and fixed wireless radio systems, emergency lighting, sirens, controllers, mobile workstations, GPS units, and safety partitions in alignment with R56 Standards and manufacturer protocols.
  • Perform vehicle modifications including electrical fitting, drilling, soldering, and optimized wiring/cable routing for emergency response equipment.
  • Handle the precise removal and re-installation of original equipment (OEM) interior vehicle trim across a diverse range of makes and models, including sedans, SUVs, buses, and specialized commercial vehicles.
  • Perform the removal and installation of mobile communications equipment following best practices and adhering to R56 Standards and Guidelines.
  • Install various 12-volt electronic equipment, including Emergency Lights and Controllers, Sirens, Mobile Computer and Docking stations, Radio Chargers, Mobile Video recording equipment, GPS equipment, equipment consoles, and etc.

  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle condition and service history, capturing precise data on labor, parts, and unique client requirements.
  • Consult with clients to propose optimal installation methods and conduct site walks to prepare accurate quotations for new or add-on projects.

Operations & Professional Development

  • Manage operational tasks including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and maintenance of a safe, orderly work environment.

The Claim Specialist is the highest claim handling designation within the Complex Claims Unit Bodily Injury (CCU BI) and is a visible and important role. CCU BI is a highly specialized claim team responsible for the management of The Hartford's long-tail asbestos, sexual molestation/harassment, sports-related head injury, opioid, and toxic tort claims. Claims in CCU are often associated with complex fact patterns and coverage issues that may involve multiple years and types of insurance coverage. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team of professionals! The primary scope of this position is to assist with supervising housekeeping staff and inspects rooms and public areas for service and quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with managing the operations of the housekeeping and laundry areas to ensure the achievement of departmental productivity objectives and service quality standards
  • Inspects guestrooms, corridors and common areas in workstation daily to ensure adherence to established cleanliness standards, and proper amenity and literature placement
  • Inspects for needed repairs, reports maintenance problems immediately and follows up to ensure the work has been completed
  • Assists with training and provides career development for housekeeping staff; conducts performance evaluations and provides feedback for employees
  • Instructs housekeeping staff in the proper performance of their duties
  • Ensures that employees have a sufficient amount of necessary supplies through regular supply and linen inventories; orders and receives supplies to maintain appropriate inventor levels
  • Assists with coordinating with the Guest Service Department daily to ensure guest special requests are met (e.g., V.I.P needs, early check-ins, etc.)
  • May perform any housekeeping duties necessary to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of housekeeping experience
  • One year of supervisory experience

Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible
  • Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
  • Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings
  • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
  • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired
