Fiber-optic handpieces
Yearly OSHA and HIPPA and Emergency Management training
Ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider
Patient Base: primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population (depending upon location)
Office flow: average 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients

Qualifications:
We expect you to have:

DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
Willing and able to work the following schedule:
- Thursday, Friday and Saturday

CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide comprehensive inpatient care within the Neurosurgery service. This role involves clinical responsibilities in both acute and urgent care settings and includes functioning as a practitioner, mentor, educator, consultant, and team collaborator. The APP will support patient care across all age groups neonatal through geriatric while aligning with departmental and hospital-wide goals and standards. New grads are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities:

Education: Provide patient and family education on care plans and preventative health.

Qualifications:

Education: Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant (required).
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Certifications: CPR, ACLS/PALS, State Licensure, DEA Certification (required).

Physical and Work Conditions:

Physical Demand: Moderate physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Hazardous Conditions: Exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials; PPE required.

APP Benefits Package:

Annual Leave: 20 days per year (accrued at 6.16 hours per pay period); prorated based on FTE. Eligibility begins after 5 months of employment.

Daily Expectations and Duties Overview

Diagnosing and treatment.
Performing medical examinations.
Administrating or directing health treatment procedures as appropriate.
Administrating or directing the administration of MAT and other health treatment procedures as appropriate.
Ordering labs or tests as necessary.
Consults with the CMO, Medical Director, and other Behavioral Health Providers on treatment of patients to ensure continuity of patient care.
Provides timely progress notes and other medical reports on all patients.
Assists with developing and/or implementing in-service training programs designed to upgrade staff's knowledge regarding health concerns and new technology in the health care treatment, including substance treatment.
Develops policies and procedures regarding medical services and medical components of activities including research, service evaluation and quality assurance in collaboration with the Medical Director.
Provides prescriptions for medication within the scope of practice in collaboration with the Medical Director.
On an on-going basis, collaborates with staff of other clinical departments within the Agency to afford a team approach to client care promoting continuity and unified goal setting.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration/Certification
Current licensure and Certificate of Authority to practice as a nurse practitioner in the state of Ohio
FNP certification preferred.
BLS & ACLS certification
2+ years' experience in family practice environment preferred
Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
