Job Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to J.P. Morgan Asset Management Global Alternative Investment Solutions businesses, with a focus on the hedge fund and private credit asset classes.
  • Provide legal support and advice across open and closed ended hedge funds-of-funds, private credit funds-of-funds, registered alternative investment funds, separately managed account mandates, funds-of-one, sub-advisory arrangements and other products that relate to alternatives strategies.
  • Advise the business on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues relevant to the formation, structuring and management of fund products, including negotiation of investment management agreements, side letters and other contracts.
  • Work closely with other members of the Legal Department and other control functions (e.g., Compliance, Risk) both within the U.S. and globally to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with professionals across Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions.
